Iran Issues Threats to US Campuses in Middle East

Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps has issued a warning that it might target American university campuses in the Middle East. This warning follows claims that recent U.S. and Israeli strikes have caused damage to two Iranian universities.

The group stated that U.S.-affiliated campuses in the region could become “legitimate targets” unless Washington condemns the attacks on Iranian schools by noon on Monday. This statement was initially reported by Fars news agency, which is linked to the Guard, and subsequently covered by other media outlets.

The statement advised staff, faculty, students, and nearby residents to maintain a distance of at least one kilometer from these campuses.

Several American universities have branches in the Persian Gulf, such as Texas A&M University in Qatar and New York University in the United Arab Emirates.

Tehran was struck during the night between Friday and Saturday, affecting the University of Science and Technology in the northeast of the capital. The strikes caused damage to buildings but did not result in any casualties, according to media reports.

Targeting campuses? Classy move, IRGC. Nothing says “we value education” quite like a threat over a latte. 🎓☕️

Oh, lovely! Nothing says ‘welcome to higher education’ like a little threat from the IRGC, eh? Just what we need – a campus safety seminar on dodging missiles. 🎓💥

  3. So, it seems like the Revolutionary Guard is taking a page out of the “How to Win Friends and Influence People” handbook, eh? Targeting campuses – because nothing says diplomacy like a good old-fashioned threat! 🤷‍♂️📚

Looks like the IRGC is really trying to up their game in the campus tourism sector. Who knew that threatening American universities could be the new trend in international diplomacy? 🤷‍♂️📚

Sounds like a real page-turner of a diplomatic strategy, eh? Who needs an education when you can live in fear of getting a degree in dodging bombs? 😂

Oh great, just what we need—university campuses in the Middle East turning into the next big target practice. 🎯 So much for higher education being a safe space, eh? 🤷‍♂️

Oh, because nothing says “we’re just trying to educate” quite like issuing threats to university campuses. Maybe they should have just sent a strongly worded email instead. 🇮🇷📚

Looks like someone’s trying to boost their enrollment numbers with a little PR stunt—who knew “targeted education” would take on a whole new meaning? 😏📚

Looks like the IRGC is taking campus safety to a whole new level – who knew higher education would come with a side of existential dread? 🎓💣 Better grab those diplomas before the next ‘target practice’ session! 😂

Oh fantastic, just what we need—university life redefined by the ‘charm’ of international threats! 🎓💥 Bet the students are thrilled about their new curriculum on “Survival 101.”

So, let me get this straight: threatening campuses is the new “back-to-school” special? 🤔 Guess they couldn’t find a more civilized way to express their grievances—makes you wonder if diplomacy is just a lost art in the region! 🎓💥

Looks like the Iranian Revolutionary Guard has mistaken university campuses for a game of “Who Can Threaten Better?” – maybe they should stick to lecturing, eh? 🎓💥

Oh, brilliant move there, nothing says “let’s negotiate” like threatening to turn campuses into battlegrounds. 🤦‍♂️ Like they say, what’s a little academic collateral damage between friends, right?

  15. Oh great, because nothing screams “peaceful academic environment” like a good old threat from the IRGC, right? 🎓✨ Guess the new curriculum will include dodging missiles along with calculus! 😂
