Electric Ferrari Sparks Outrage from Transport Minister and Across Italy

Salvini’s remarks are expected to escalate tensions between the Italian government and the Agnelli-Elkann family, the principal shareholder in Ferrari and the global car manufacturer Stellantis.

The contentious Luce — the first Ferrari model to be entirely electric and to feature five seats — has immediately caused a stir among traditionalists in Italy.

It also failed to immediately reassure investors, with Ferrari’s stock plummeting by over eight percent on Tuesday.

The four-door Ferrari, advertised as “the most comfortable Ferrari ever” — which deviates from the brand’s reputation for speed, style, and passion — was co-developed by Jony Ive, former chief design officer at Apple.

Some humorously observed a likeness between the new Ferrari, offered in an uncommon light blue, and the classic Apple products designed by Ive’s team.

Di Montezemolo, who was at the helm of Ferrari for more than twenty years, also criticized the car.

So, an electric Ferrari, eh? Just what we needed—because nothing screams “passion” like a silent ride in a blue box on wheels. 🚗💨

Isn’t it lovely when a Ferrari turns into an electric sofa? Maybe next they’ll add cup holders and a complimentary espresso machine for that authentic Italian experience. 😂

So, we’ve gone from “fast and furious” to “sluggish and serious,” eh? Who knew the Italians would ever trade in their passion for pasta for a five-seater electric snooze mobile? 😂🚗

Looks like Ferrari’s gone and traded in its vroom-vroom for a gentle hum—next stop, the electric tea party! ⚡️🛋️ Who knew a Ferrari would need a five-point harness for all that comfort? 😂

Who knew the Prancing Horse would trade in its gallop for a gentle stroll in an electric buggy? 🚗💨 I suppose “most comfortable Ferrari ever” means you can now nap while you lament the loss of your V12! 😂

Seems like Ferrari’s gone and traded in its roaring engines for a silent prayer—who knew electric could also mean ‘electric boogaloo’ in a light blue? 😂 Next thing you know, they’ll be adding a cup holder for your chamomile tea! 🍵

Just what we needed, a family-friendly Ferrari that screams “take me to the supermarket” rather than “watch me zoom past”. 🚗💨 Maybe they should’ve just slapped an Apple logo on it and called it a day, eh? 😂

So, we’ve traded the thundering roar of a Ferrari for the silent hum of an electric toaster, eh? 🍞 Can’t wait to see how many Italian driving enthusiasts take their espresso breaks while charging at a cafe. 🙄

Honestly, the Luce is like serving spaghetti with a side of sushi—if you wanted comfort over speed, you’d be driving a family van, not a Ferrari! 🍝🚗💨
