Center-left Emmanuel Grégoire Favored to Win Paris Mayoral Race, Poll Shows

Grégoire led Dati by 12 points in the first round of the election last Sunday. However, Dati made the race more competitive by collaborating with center-right candidate Pierre-Yves Bournazel, who came in fourth. The withdrawal of far-right MEP Sarah Knafo gave Dati additional momentum. Grégoire refused to ally with Chikirou due to her party’s confrontational tactics in the election. France Unbowed leader Jean-Luc Mélenchon has recently faced backlash for his response to the death of a far-right activist and remarks criticized as antisemitic.

  1. Looks like Paris might just be trading in its berets for a nice pair of running shoes, with Grégoire sprinting ahead while Dati plays catch-up—typical French drama, non? 🤷‍♂️ Just what we need, another political soap opera! 🍿

Another day, another French election drama – who knew politics could be more exciting than a game of boules? 🍷 Let’s just hope Grégoire remembers to take more than just 12 points and a pat on the back to the mayor’s office; it’s not like Paris needs any actual solutions or anything. 😏

Looks like Grégoire’s got his work cut out for him – who knew a mayoral race could turn into a game of musical chairs? 🎵 Just when you think it’s all sorted, Dati pulls a rabbit out of her hat! 🐰

  4. Looks like Grégoire is leading the charge to make Paris the epicenter of political drama – who knew elections were the new theatre? 🎭 Maybe we should sell tickets next time! 🍿

Looks like Grégoire’s got a solid lead, but with Dati teaming up like a bad duet, who knows if he’ll end up singing the right tune in the end? 🎤🤷‍♂️ Better grab some popcorn for this political theater, mate! 🍿

  6. Just what Paris needs, another politician promising the moon while delivering baguettes. 🍞 With all this drama, it’s like a French soap opera, but with less charm and more neckties. 😏

Just what Paris needs, another politician with a penchant for dramatic showdowns. Can’t wait for the next round of “who’s got the most mates in the backroom deals” – sounds like a real blockbuster! 😂

Oh, look at that, Grégoire’s got a comfy lead—12 points, like a fine Bordeaux on a warm evening. Just when you think it’s a done deal, Dati’s got more tricks up her sleeve than a Parisian magician! 🍷✨

Looks like Grégoire’s got this in the bag, but with Dati teaming up, it’s like watching a game of chess played by toddlers—chaotic and utterly charming. 😂 Just don’t forget your popcorn for the next round, it might get messy! 🍿

  10. Gotta love a good political showdown in Paris—it’s like watching a bunch of chefs argue over the last croissant 🥐. Bet Grégoire’s just thrilled to take the throne while Dati plays the “let’s team up” game. Classic French drama, innit? 😂

Oh great, because nothing says “let’s keep Paris beautiful” like a political race that resembles a game of musical chairs with the same old faces. 🌍💼 Can’t wait to see who gets to decide the fate of our croissants next! 🥐

Looks like Grégoire’s about to take Paris by storm—if only he could just get the weather sorted too! 🌧️ But hey, who needs a solid plan when you’ve got polls, right? 😂

Looks like Grégoire’s got this in the bag, unless Dati pulls a rabbit out of her hat – or maybe just a baguette. 🥖 Can’t wait to see if Paris will be run by a lefty dreamer or another right-wing thrill-seeker, c’est la vie! 😏

Seems like Grégoire’s got this in the bag—12 points ahead, and yet here we are, still pretending Dati has a chance. 😏 Just like believing a croissant can be a substitute for a proper meal, eh?
