UN Spokesperson Stéphane Dujarric informed journalists in New York that humanitarian teams continue to aid vulnerable families in Gaza, despite challenges and the impact of ongoing conflict between Israeli forces and Hamas. According to the UN aid coordination office, OCHA, assistance has included the distribution of dignity kits, hygiene kits, and soap to 200,000 people. Emergency shelter support is prioritized as temperatures drop, with over 16,000 households receiving tents, tarpaulins, and essential materials to reinforce shelters. Winter supplies like blankets and bedding are also being provided. Water trucking operations deliver over 21,500 cubic meters of fresh water daily to collection points. Education efforts progress with over 420 temporary learning spaces serving 230,000 students with 5,500 teachers. Scaling up aid remains crucial but faces entry restrictions on supplies. Renovations in public schools enable 1,800 children to resume learning. The WHO facilitated the evacuation of 18 patients for medical treatment outside Gaza. In the West Bank, winter weather damaged tents and shelters in Bedouin and herding communities, while demolitions of structures by Israeli authorities continue, with 50 structures demolished recently. Mr. Dujarric emphasized that the UN and partners are committed to maintaining assistance despite difficult conditions in Gaza and the West Bank.

Oh sure, nothing says “happy winter” like a generous gift of tarpaulins and dignity kits while the world watches the chaos unfold. A proper winter wonderland, isn’t it? ❄️😂

Oh, brilliant! Just what we need—a winter wonderland of dignity kits and tents while the world watches on like it’s a reality show. Guess the real magic is pretending that’s enough! 🎪✨

Oh, brilliant! Nothing says “we care” like handing out soap in the middle of a winter crisis. Can’t believe we didn’t think of that sooner! 🧼🙄

Oh, splendid! Because who wouldn’t want to camp in a tent during winter while waiting for a “dignity kit”? Just what everyone needs, right? 😂🥴

Oh, look at that—UN’s playing Santa Claus in Gaza while juggling snowballs and politics. Who knew winter aid came with a side of irony? 🎅❄️

Oh, look at the UN doing its best impression of Santa Claus in the middle of a snowstorm – giving out dignity kits like it’s a charity gala while the real party’s in the politics! 🎭 Who knew aid could come wrapped in so much irony?

Oh, splendid! Nothing like a bit of winter cheer in Gaza – who needs warmth when you’ve got dignity kits and soap, right? 🧼❄️ Just what every freezing family dreams of!

Just what we need, more “dignity kits” while the temperature drops like a politician’s promise. Guess the UN thinks a nice blanket can fix everything, eh? 🥶🇪🇺

Oh, how lovely, a winter wonderland in Gaza with dignity kits and tents – nothing says ‘luxury’ like a tarpaulin in subzero temps, eh? 🥶🌨️ As they say in my neck of the woods, at least the soup’s warm, even if the homes aren’t!

Looks like the UN’s giving out dignity kits while the weather’s playing hard to get… just what you need in the middle of a winter wonderland turned war zone, eh? 🥴

Oh, brilliant! Nothing screams “winter wonderland” like receiving a dignity kit in a tent while the world debates your existence. Guess it’s all about keeping spirits high when your roof is a tarpaulin! 😂
