Swedish security service members have been accused of revealing the prime minister’s location, including his private address, by sharing their running and cycling routes on the fitness app Strava.
As reported by Swedish daily Dagens Nyheter, bodyguards uploaded their workouts to the app 35 times, disclosing information about Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson such as his running routes, overnight trips abroad, and the location of his private residence.
Strava data was also connected to the Swedish royal family, former Prime Minister Magdalena Andersson, and Jimmie Åkesson, leader of the Sweden Democrats party.
Dagens Nyheter noted that a bodyguard posted running details in Bodø, Norway, while Kristersson met with Norwegian and Finnish leaders, Jonas Gahr Støre and Alexander Stubb. Kristersson later shared a photo of the leaders running together on social media.
