Moscow Alerts of Possible ‘Provocations’ Before Putin-Trump Meeting

Dmitriev did not specify the countries, but he made the remarks in response to a post by Dan Caldwell, a former senior adviser to U.S. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, where Caldwell mentioned expecting a “concerted effort” to undermine the meeting by “forces in Europe and Ukraine who have a vested interest in the war continuing.”

European governments are likely to strongly oppose any deal involving handing over Ukrainian territory to Russia, a possibility mentioned by Trump on Friday but rejected by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Saturday.

Dmitriev’s pre-emptive allegation about disinformation is noteworthy as the EU has long accused Russia of conducting its own disinformation campaigns.

Oh, brilliant! Just what we need: a high-stakes game of geopolitical chess, where everyone’s made it clear they’d rather not play. 🎭 No doubt, it’ll be a “provocation” party – and I forgot to bring the chips! 🍿

  2. Oh, lovely! Just what we need, more “provocations” to spice up the diplomatic tea party. 🤦‍♂️ I suppose everyone’s just dying to see how many territories we can juggle before the next meeting! 🍵💼

So, let me get this straight – we’re worried about “provocations” before a meeting that sounds like a bad spy movie script? 🤔 Classic! Just when you think diplomacy couldn’t get more theatrical, here we are, waiting for the next act. 🎭

Oh, lovely! Just what we need, a pre-meeting drama that even a soap opera would envy. Seems like everyone’s got a vested interest, except maybe the people who actually live there! 🤷‍♂️🥴

Looks like Moscow’s already rehearsing its best drama for the Putin-Trump show. Can’t wait for the “provocations,” they might just steal the spotlight from the actual meeting! 🎭🤷‍♂️

Looks like we’re all in for a riveting episode of “As the Politics Turn” – who knew geopolitics could be this dramatic? 🎭 But hey, let’s just ignore the elephant in the room, shall we? 🤷‍♂️
