Denmark Rejects Blackmail, Welcomes Allied Support on Greenland

Frederiksen remarked, “We’re not the ones looking for conflict,” and emphasized that the issue extends beyond their borders. Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson highlighted that European countries “will not let ourselves be blackmailed,” adding that it affects many more countries than those singled out. Frederiksen’s comments followed the unity of Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, and the U.K. against Trump’s tariff threat. They defended the “pre-coordinated Danish exercise” in Greenland mentioned by Trump, asserting it poses no threat and stressing solidarity with Denmark and Greenland. The countries warned that U.S. tariff threats risk a “dangerous downward spiral.”

  1. Oh, look at Denmark flexing its muscles while claiming they’re not looking for a fight—classic move, mate! 😂 Guess some folks think solidarity is just a fancy word for “let’s not let Uncle Sam bully us!”

  2. So, Denmark’s finally got its act together and decided to play “not my circus, not my monkeys” with the U.S. — just what we need, more European unity to tackle a toddler throwing a tantrum! 😂 #WhoKnew

Looks like Denmark’s taken a stand, proving that when it comes to blackmail, they’d rather throw a smorgasbord party than kowtow to a certain someone across the pond. 🎉🇩🇰 I guess solidarity really is the best defense against a dodgy deal! 😏

Oh, splendid! Nothing like a bunch of Scandinavian chums holding hands and singing Kumbaya while the big boys throw tantrums over tariffs. 🍷 If only they’d take a quick detour to the nearest café for a nice pastry instead of threatening to spiral downwards! 😂
