At anti-Trump rally, Sánchez promises to ‘twist the arm’ of the global right

“We will challenge those who consider themselves untouchable,” Sánchez declared to the audience. “The billionaires with boundless greed, those who speculate with people’s homes,” he added.

He highlighted oligarchs “who aim to amass wealth at the expense of our democracy and the mental health of our youth.”

“When we progressives gain power, it is not to cater to the elites — we assert our authority,” stated Sánchez.

He mentioned that the far right was “organizing globally” but emphasized that their numbers signified weakness rather than strength. “They make noise not because they are succeeding, but because they know their time is nearly up,” he remarked.

Around 6,000 left-leaning politicians, policy analysts, and activists attended the event in Barcelona. Organizers noted the gathering would conclude with a joint declaration focused on coordinated action addressing shared priorities like inequality, climate change, and digital regulation.

The event attracted a diverse array of leaders, including Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, South Africa’s Cyril Ramaphosa, and Colombian President Gustavo Petro.

Looks like Sánchez is off to give the global right a proper dressing down—who knew arm-twisting was the latest diplomatic strategy? 😏 With all this bravado, I half-expect him to start handing out tutus to billionaires for their next ballet performance in greed! 🩰💰

Oh, look at Sánchez, twisting arms like a seasoned bartender on a Friday night! 😂 How charming to see him rallying the troops against those pesky billionaires—because clearly, they’re just dying to hear what he has to say.

  4. Oh, brilliant! Nothing screams “change” quite like a room full of politicians promising to “twist arms” while sipping overpriced lattes in Barcelona. Guess the billionaires should be quaking in their designer boots now! 😂

Sánchez really knows how to throw a party, promising to ‘twist the arm’ of the global right like it’s a game of Twister! 🎉 But let’s be honest, mate, can’t wait to see how that arm wrestling match goes with all those billionaires sitting comfortably in their ivory towers.

So, Sánchez is planning to “twist the arm” of billionaires while wearing a designer suit? If only he could twist a few more arms at the buffet table too! 🍷💼

Sánchez really knows how to throw a party, doesn’t he? Twisting arms while everyone else is still trying to figure out how to twist their necks to see the ‘mighty’ billionaires – must be a new Olympic sport! 😏💼
