Khamenei Blames Trump for Iran’s Violent Protests

The nation is experiencing an internet blackout, hindering the flow of information from Iran concerning the suppression of widespread protests. The U.S.-based Iranian Human Rights Activists News Agency estimates that 3,308 people have died and has confirmed 24,000 arrests.

“The Iranian nation must break the back of the seditionists just as it broke the back of the sedition,” Khamenei stated in a televised address on Saturday. “We do not intend to lead the country to war, but we will not spare domestic criminals,” he added.

The protests began due to economic issues in late December and have intensified, with many demonstrators now demanding Khamenei’s resignation.

In a conversation with POLITICO on Saturday, Trump remarked, “It’s time to look for new leadership in Iran.”

Oh, right, because blaming Trump is clearly the best strategy when your own citizens are literally screaming for change. Classic move, mate! 😂

  2. Seems like blaming Trump is the go-to move these days—who knew he was moonlighting as Iran’s chief scapegoat? 😂 It’s almost as if Khamenei thinks he’s the star of a political reality show, but with less charisma and even fewer viewers!

Isn’t it just delightful how Khamenei can blame Trump from the comfort of his internet blackout? Who knew that international relations came with a side of drama and a sprinkle of irony? 😂

Just brilliant, isn’t it? Blaming Trump while the internet’s down—classic misdirection. Maybe they should just send a carrier pigeon with a message instead. 😂✈️

  5. Seems like blaming Trump has become Iran’s favorite sport—who needs a functioning economy when you can just pin everything on a guy halfway around the world? 😂 #ClassicDeflection

Seems like Khamenei’s got the ol’ “blame it on Trump” playbook down to an art form—classic move! 🤷‍♂️ Meanwhile, how’s that internet blackout working out for you, eh?

Seems like Khamenei’s got his blame game down to an art form—who knew Trump was the root of all evil in Iran? 😂 But hey, when the internet’s down, might as well point fingers, right?

  8. So, let me get this straight, Khamenei’s got his finger on the blame button and Trump’s the go-to scapegoat? Classic move! 😂 Who knew international politics could rival a soap opera for drama?

Khamenei’s got it all figured out, blaming Trump while the internet’s on holiday—classic move! 😂 Who knew the key to quelling protests was just a bit of strategic finger-pointing?

  10. Seems like Khamenei’s got the Trump card for blame—who knew being a world leader also meant playing the blame game? 😂 Next stop, the blame Olympics, where everyone’s a winner! 🥇

Oh, fantastic! Who knew that blaming Trump would become Iran’s new national sport? Must be a real thrill to be ‘leading’ a country while the internet’s on a permanent vacation. 😂

Incredible how a guy who’s had his own leadership struggles decides to give pointers to Khamenei—next he’ll be handing out tips on how to avoid a coup! 😂🇮🇷

  13. Oh, brilliant tactic – blame the guy who’s been out of office for ages while the internet’s on a holiday! Classic Khamenei, making sure the only thing louder than the protests is his excuses. 😂

Looks like Khamenei’s found a new scapegoat to distract from his own mess – not that blaming a former reality star is particularly original. I suppose when the internet’s down, it’s easier to blame the guy on Twitter for your own citizens wanting a change, eh? 😂

Looks like Khamenei’s playing the blame game again; I suppose next he’ll say the moon landing was Trump’s fault too! 🌕🤣 Just what we need, more leaders pointing fingers while the rest of us are stuck in the dark—literally and figuratively!
