
Sarajevo, (Fena) – The Police Academy under the Federal Ministry of the Interior (FMUP) is enhancing its collaboration with the EUPA4BiH initiative funded by the European Union, aimed at improving the training of cadets and the professional skills of police officers in Bosnia and Herzegovina, with the approval and support of Federal Minister Ramo Isak.
During this event, EUPA4BiH representatives presented future planned activities at the FMUP Police Academy, focusing on specialized training for police officers, particularly in organized crime investigations, as well as management and leadership within law enforcement regarding organized crime.
The upcoming initiatives include the creation of modern curricula and syllabi to be developed and implemented collaboratively between the FMUP Police Academy and EUPA4BiH, focusing on organized crime investigations and leadership/management strategies within law enforcement.
This strategy aims to ensure high training quality, address the real needs of police agencies, and apply the best European practices in combating organized crime.
EUPA4BiH is a four-year European Union-funded project designed to strengthen law enforcement institutions in Bosnia and Herzegovina. It aims to enhance professional capabilities, foster inter-institutional cooperation, and align with European Union standards in the fight against organized crime and terrorism.
The FMUP Police Academy and EUPA4BiH reaffirmed their commitment to ongoing and deeper cooperation, confident that the planned initiatives will significantly enhance the professional knowledge, skills, and leadership capabilities of police officers, thereby improving the overall efficiency of the law enforcement system in Bosnia and Herzegovina, as announced by the Federal Ministry of the Interior.
