The U.S. administration referenced a study released last summer linking paracetamol during pregnancy to a higher incidence of neuro-developmental disorders (NDDs), though Khalil noted that many of these studies suffer from bias, which can lead to incorrect conclusions. Conversely, The Lancet’s review focused on rigorous studies with minimal bias, sibling comparisons, and at least five years of follow-up, finding no link. Sibling-comparison studies help compare children born to the same mother who used paracetamol in only one pregnancy, factoring in shared genetics and family characteristics. Khalil stated that previously reported links could be due to genetic factors or maternal issues like fever, not paracetamol itself. Public health experts, including the EMA and European Commission, opposed Trump’s stance, citing lack of evidence. Grainne McAlonan of King’s College London hopes the study resolves the issue, noting expectant mothers shouldn’t worry that common headache medicine might impact their child’s health.

Just when you thought it was safe to take a paracetamol without a side of conspiracy theory! 🤦♂️ Honestly, if I had a euro for every time someone misinterpreted a study, I’d be off to buy a yacht in the Mediterranean! 🍷
-
Just what we needed, another study to confirm that common sense is still in short supply. 🤦♂️ Maybe next they’ll investigate whether breathing air is linked to brain development—who knows, right? 😂
-
Isn’t it just delightful when a study puts a spanner in the works of a certain orange bloke’s theories? 🙄 I suppose now we can all breathe easy, knowing that paracetamol is just as innocent as a pint of lager on a Sunday! 🍻
-
Just what we needed, another study to clear up the ‘myths’—who knew paracetamol had such a dramatic effect on our little ones? 🤔 Next, we’ll discover that chocolate cake causes world peace. 🍰

Looks like Trump’s theory just got a right royal slap from The Lancet, eh? Who knew paracetamol could be so controversial—next, they’ll say tea causes existential dread! 😂
-
Fancy that! A study that actually makes sense—who’d have thought? 🤔 Guess it’s time to toss out the old wives’ tales and start listening to the real experts, eh? 😏
-
Seems like we’ve got another case of “let’s just throw random theories around” from across the pond. 🤦♂️ How very American to blame a simple painkiller for everything under the sun! 🍵
-
Seems like the only thing Trump is good at is tossing around unscientific theories like confetti at a wedding—makes you wonder if he ever took paracetamol for those pesky headaches of his! 😂
-
Seems like the only thing more inflated than Trump’s theories are his golf scores. 🤔 Maybe next time he should try reading a study instead of just tweeting about it. 🏌️♂️📉
-
Blimey, who knew the cure for a headache could be more controversial than Brexit? 🤔 Maybe we should just stick to herbal tea and let the experts work it out without the drama. 🍵
-
Isn’t it just delightful when a bunch of experts finally decide to make sense of the nonsense? 🤷♂️ Clearly, we should have consulted the same folks who thought Brexit was a brilliant idea for all our health insights!
-
Looks like Trump’s theories are about as solid as a wet paper towel, eh? 🤔 Good to know that paracetamol won’t turn our future Einsteins into, well, less than Einsteins—thank goodness for proper science! 🇪🇺✨

So, it turns out that paracetamol isn’t the bogeyman after all – who knew? Guess we’ll have to find another scapegoat for those “neuro-developmental disorders” – maybe we should blame the weather instead? 😂
-
Seems like the only thing Trump’s theory cured was his credibility. Who knew a little paracetamol could stir up such a tempest in a teapot? 😂
-
Just what we needed, another expert trying to debunk the latest conspiracy theory. Makes you wonder if some folks just can’t resist a good headline. 🙄 #ScienceIsFun

Just when you think you’ve heard it all, along comes a study that reveals paracetamol is not the new bogeyman for expectant mothers. Cheers to science for debunking yet another tall tale—next, we’ll be told that drinking tea during pregnancy leads to existential crises! ☕️🙄

Blimey, who knew a simple painkiller could be the villain in the next episode of “As the World Turns”? 🤦♂️ Let’s just hope the next study doesn’t link tea to existential crises, eh? 🇬🇧
-
So, it turns out that the orange one was just throwing darts in the dark again, eh? Who knew paracetamol was just a pill for headaches and not a gateway to a full-blown conspiracy? 😂
-
Seems like Trump took a wrong turn on the research highway—who knew paracetamol was a secret villain in the pregnancy saga? 🤔 Next, he’ll be blaming the weather for mood swings!
-
Just what we needed, another study to remind us that common sense doesn’t come from a Twitter account. 🤷♂️ I suppose next they’ll tell us that drinking water doesn’t turn you into a fish. 🐟
