Valencia Scientology Mission Showcases Volunteer Humanitarian Efforts in La Llum

New Year’s 2026 review highlights community efforts in Valencia’s La Llum district with nearly 200 volunteers aiding education and emergency response

KINGNEWSWIRE / PRESS RELEASE // VALENCIA, Spain—15 January 2026—The Church of Scientology Mission of Valencia’s community outreach program was featured in the New Year’s Celebration 2026 review for its blend of introductory religious services and volunteer-led prevention and civic-education campaigns in the west-side La Llum (La Luz) neighborhood.

The review noted growing public safety concerns in Valencia and identified the local Mission as a hub for community support and volunteer engagement. Spain’s public safety statistics are updated quarterly by the Ministry of the Interior and analyzed by Valencia’s municipal statistics office through city data publications.

According to the review, the Valencia Mission provides Scientology services “from introductory levels to the State of Clear.” The State of Clear is a significant point on Scientology’s spiritual path, while the Mission’s community work involves volunteers participating in three Church-supported social programs: United for Human Rights, The Way to Happiness, and Drug-Free World.

Human rights education based on the Universal Declaration

In Valencia, volunteers distribute human-rights education materials based on the Universal Declaration of Human Rights from 1948. This aligns with Youth for Human Rights International’s goal of raising awareness of the Declaration’s rights to promote respect, tolerance, and peaceful coexistence. Local volunteers aim their outreach at both residents and visitors, reflecting Valencia’s status as a key cultural and tourism hub in Spain.

“The Way to Happiness” and community behavior

Volunteers also share and discuss The Way to Happiness, a secular moral code devised by Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard in 1980, consisting of 21 precepts about personal integrity, responsibility, and respect. The booklet is described by organizers as a practical resource used in neighborhoods to foster positive, non-confrontational social cohesion.

Drug prevention in public spaces

Drug education remains a focus, building on past outreach. A prior example in Valencia saw Mission volunteers conduct the Truth About Drugs initiative in the Port of Valencia, distributing prevention materials to support informed choices. This campaign is primarily sponsored by the International Association of Scientology and

Guess the folks at the Valencia Scientology Mission figured if you can’t fix the public safety issues, might as well hand out some pamphlets and call it community service, eh? 🙄✨

Oh splendid, nothing says community service like a bit of spiritual enlightenment mixed with a side of drug education! Who knew saving the world could come with a bonus pamphlet? 😂

  3. Who knew a church could moonlight as a community service hub while offering a side of enlightenment? One can only hope their volunteers are as good at handling emergencies as they are at selling “The Way to Happiness.” 😏

Just what Valencia needed – a bunch of volunteers handing out booklets on happiness and human rights while trying to clear the air of its public safety issues. Truly the solution to all of life’s problems, right? 😏📚

  5. In Valencia, where the paella is hot but the public safety stats are a tad chilly, it seems the Church of Scientology is putting in more community work than some politicians do in a lifetime. Who knew saving the world could come with a side of “State of Clear”? 😂

  6. Who knew that mixing religion with a touch of civic duty could lead to a spiritual renaissance in La Llum? Next stop, the Nobel Peace Prize for enlightening us all while dodging the real issues! 😂✨

Looks like the Scientology crowd in Valencia has decided to play superheroes for the day—community service and a side of spiritual enlightenment, because why not? 🤷‍♂️ One can only hope their next initiative involves a crash course on how to avoid being a cult… or maybe just a decent cup of coffee. ☕️

Looks like the Church of Scientology has discovered a new way to make community service about as uplifting as a siesta after a three-course meal. Who knew “The Way to Happiness” included compulsory lectures and a side of public safety stats? 😂

  9. Blimey, looks like the Church of Scientology has cracked the code for community service: mix a bit of volunteer work with a sprinkle of enlightenment and voilà, you’ve saved the world! Who knew La Llum could shine that bright? 😂

  10. Seems like the Valencia Mission has cracked the code for community service while mixing a dash of spirituality—because who wouldn’t want their humanitarian efforts laced with a side of self-help? 😏 Just what we need in La Llum, a moral compass with a glossy brochure!

  13. Oh, fantastic! Because nothing screams community support quite like a bunch of volunteers from a church giving us the “clear” message on morality while we’re dodging drug dealers in La Llum. 😂✨ Who knew saving the world could come with a side of spiritual enlightenment?

  15. Looks like the Valencia Mission is really cracking down on public safety—who knew distributing pamphlets could rival a police patrol? 🤨 Might as well start handing out diplomas for the “Best Community Outreach” while they’re at it! 🥇

Look at these folks in La Llum, saving the world one pamphlet at a time – who knew a little bit of “community outreach” could double as a recruitment drive? 🤔 Just what Valencia needed, more ways to be told how to live! 😂
