
Sarajevo (Fena) – The European Union has announced a public call to identify aid beneficiaries for businesses impacted by the floods in October 2024, as part of its project supporting flood recovery in Bosnia and Herzegovina. This initiative is funded by the EU and executed by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the International Organization for Migration (IOM), in collaboration with the Impakt Investment Foundation and the LINK Entrepreneurship Center.
Eligible business entities from Jablanica, Konjic, Fojnica, Kreševo, Kiseljak, Vareš, Mostar, and Drvar can access non-repayable funding of up to 12,200 KM per company, in addition to mentoring and advisory support for their recovery. Preference will be given to entities that employ women, youth, and individuals with disabilities, as well as those focusing on sustainability and digitalization.
The project aims to aid the recovery of businesses, preserve jobs, and ensure the continuity of economic activities within the affected communities. (9.1.)
