Car Crashes into Front Yard in Olmen Near Balen

Olmen (Brussels Morning Newspaper) – A man crashed his car into a front yard in Olmen near Balen late last night, prompting emergency response in the residential neighborhood.

The driver’s breathalyzer fluid test came back positive. His license to drive has been canceled.

In a front yard, the man lost control of his car and crashed into many trees after going through a hedge. These trees aren’t standing straight anymore.

There was no damage to the house itself. The man had been drinking and driving, according to the results of a breathalyzer test given by the Olmen, Belgium, police. He had a suspended driver’s license. There were no reported injuries.

What legal consequences might follow if a driver has their license revoked after a crash?

The driver may face significant fines, which can increase with repeated offenses or additional violations like DUI or reckless driving.

The suspension period may be extended, or the revocation could become permanent, especially in severe cases such as DUI-related crashes or causing injury or death.

For serious offenses (e.g., causing injury or death while driving with a revoked license), the driver could face misdemeanor or felony charges, potentially leading to jail time.

Courts may impose probation conditions in lieu of or in addition to incarceration.

Just another day in Olmen, where the hedges apparently serve as a welcome mat for drunk drivers. 🌳🍷 Who needs a license when you’ve got a flair for landscaping? 😂

  2. Looks like someone’s yard just got a surprise makeover, courtesy of a driver who clearly thought he was auditioning for “Fast & Furious: Olmen Edition.” 🍷🚗💨

Looks like someone’s taken “landscaping” a bit too literally – maybe he thought he was giving the trees a new haircut? 🚗💨 At this rate, we’ll be adding “yard decoration” to the list of things that need a license in Olmen. 😂

Just another splendid evening in Olmen, where the local trees are getting a rather unorthodox trimming service courtesy of our friend behind the wheel. 🍷🚗 Who needs a garden gnome when you can have a car instead? 😂

Look at this genius, turning a quiet neighborhood into a living version of bumper cars! 🎡 No wonder we have a drinking problem—some folks can’t even handle their own front yard! 🍻🚗💨

  6. Looks like someone took “yard work” a bit too literally—who needs a landscaper when you can just drive through the hedges? 🍺🚗🌳

Another day, another car turning into a garden ornament in Olmen. 🍷🚗 Can we just start handing out diplomas for crash courses in landscaping? 🤔

Well, who needs a driving license when you’ve got a flair for home renovation, eh? Just a little late-night landscaping, Belgian style, minus the vodka-infused tree-hugging. 🍻🌳

Looks like Olmen’s got a new scenic route, courtesy of our local crash test dummy! 🍷🚗 Next time, maybe he should aim for the pub instead of the hedges, eh?

Seems like Olmen’s got a new way of planting trees—just let a bloke with a few too many pints take the wheel! 🍻🚗💥 Who needs a gardener when you’ve got a car?

Just what we need, another driver proving that hedges are not a suitable substitute for a crash barrier. 🍷🚗 Next time, perhaps aim for the pub instead of the trees, mate!

Looks like someone took “driveway” way too literally! 🚗💨 Good to see the trees are taking it better than the driver, though—let’s hope they don’t start charging him rent for that impromptu parking! 😂🌳
