Bruges (Eurotoday Newspaper): Aristide, the black cat mascot of the Folklore Museum in Bruges, is now represented in a new board game designed by Pieter Van Eenoge. The game features fun activities and local sights, with a Deluxe Edition priced at 70 euros and a regular version at 29.95 euros.
The black museum cat, Aristide, has been the mascot at the Balstraat Museum for many years. Anna Adamski, the marketing coordinator at Musea Brugge, shared that they are now on their fifth Aristide. People showed a lot of interest during the selection process for the new cat, and when he arrived, he quickly became popular because he was very friendly. Aristide is a big part of the visitor experience and represents the Folklore Museum, and the museum wants to celebrate this more with a new board game.
What features will the new board game with Aristide and the Folklore Museum include?
blank” rel=”noopener”>Musea Brugge asked Pieter Van Eenoge, a famous illustrator, to design a game board featuring the Folklore Museum and Aristide, the museum cat. Van Eenoge, who has worked with well-known magazines and previously created a snakes and ladders game for the Folklore Museum, faced the challenge of making sure each part of the board had a purpose. He also designed the board from four angles so that every player can see it well, no matter which side they are on.
Musea Brugge has created a new game with Vives College. It includes fun cards like “Meow a song” and “Name a famous cat.” The game board is 50 cm by 50 cm and features local sights. There’s a special Deluxe Edition with only 100 copies, which costs 70 euros and includes a signed picture. The regular version is 29.95 euros and is available at Musea Brugge and some bookstores.

Well, who wouldn’t want to spend €70 to toss some cardboard around while pretending to be a cat-loving museum curator? Sounds like a purr-fect way to spend an evening, innit? 🐾😏

Well, finally! Because who wouldn’t want to spend 70 euros to roll dice with a cat? 🐾 I can just hear the excitement now: “Look, darling, it’s Aristide’s whiskers on the game board – definitely worth our life savings!” 😂

Who knew a board game about a black cat could make you question your life choices? 🐾 Honestly, for €70, I expect the game to at least give me a solid strategy for my next business deal—maybe Aristide can help me negotiate! 😂
