Throughout the four-year conflict, Russian President Vladimir Putin has increasingly depended on North Korea to provide artillery shells and missiles. The involvement of North Korean troops raises concerns about Russia potentially sharing military expertise with Kim Jong Un’s regime in Pyongyang.
“Russia is aiding North Korea in learning warfare, enhancing its weapons, and acquiring practical combat experience in their use,” Zelenskyy stated.
“This poses a threat to all in Asia who are within the reach of North Korean missiles. We will address this,” he added.
