Suspected Russian Proxies Traveled to Germany, Switzerland After Paris Raid, Court Hears

Bulgarian authorities revealed that Angelov and another suspect, Kiril Milushev, traveled to Germany shortly after an operation in Paris. The French prosecutor linked this to vandalism at the Munich grave of Stepan Bandera, asking if they were involved, based on foreign intelligence.

Milushev rejected the idea as “absurd,” admitting he visited Germany with Angelov to buy a car.

Milushev also visited Switzerland with Ivanov, who covered the costs for the Paris trip of the group and paid for their return to Sofia after the museum incident.

The Swiss trip was before a Ukraine summit.

“We intended to put up peace stickers but did not do it,” Milushev stated.

Ivanov confirmed funding the Paris trip, a favor for Angelov, later reimbursed.
