BRUSSELS — The European Union’s chief diplomat, Kaja Kallas, has expressed concern that Russia has mastered the art of election interference through the use of advanced technologies.
“I see examples from Romania, but also other regions, showing that the] Russians have truly figured out how to influence elections,” Kallas remarked during her appearance at [POLITICO’s P28 event on Tuesday evening.
When asked about the implications of emerging technologies on democratic processes, Kallas admitted she is “deeply worried.”
