Ah, the Schengen Agreement Declaration: because nothing says “we’re ready for Europe” quite like a group of ministers having a top-notch chinwag about borders, while the rest of us wonder if we need a passport to visit the loo at a pub in Brussels!

Ah, the grand spectacle of Romania and Bulgaria finally signing a declaration for Schengen membership—because what’s better than having your “coming soon” sign plastered on the border while the rest of Europe enjoys the party?

Ah, the grand spectacle of Romania and Bulgaria finally poised to sign a declaration for Schengen membership; it’s almost as thrilling as watching paint dry in a Brussels office—except this time, we might even get a stamp of approval for borders that should have been open long before our hairlines started receding!
