Macron Praises US Decision to Lift Restrictions on Ukraine’s Missile Use

The Kremlin’s spokesperson, Dmitry Peskov, recently stated that the use of U.S.-supplied weapons to attack targets within Russia marks “a qualitatively new situation in terms of the involvement of the United States in this conflict.”

Meanwhile, the Russian military itself has been using foreign-made weapons, including Iranian-made Shahed drones, during its attacks on Ukraine.

Earlier this year, French President Emmanuel Macron expressed support for allowing Ukraine to strike military targets inside Russia. He argued that Moscow had been exploiting Western restrictions on the use of donated missiles, giving Russia an unfair advantage.

Fresh reports have surfaced suggesting that the Biden administration, in its final days, has permitted Ukraine to use long-range ATACMS missiles against Russian targets. On the other hand, President-elect Donald Trump has signaled a different approach, indicating that he would seek a peace deal with Russia and may halt U.S. aid to Ukraine.

The U.K. is expected to follow the U.S. lead by supplying Ukraine with Storm Shadow missiles. However, Germany has reaffirmed its stance of not providing Ukraine with long-range missiles, with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz reiterating his opposition to such a move.

  1. Ah, isn’t it quaint? Macron, with all the flair of a Parisian café waiter, applauds the US for giving Ukraine the green light on missiles—because nothing says diplomacy quite like a good old game of “who can drop more fireworks.” One can only hope this new arrangement comes with a complimentary side of croissants; after all, nothing says European strategy like a little bit of butter and a lot of bang!

  2. Ah, how delightful! President Macron is positively gushing over the US finally deciding to let Ukraine use missiles like a kid with a new toy. One can only imagine the French delight in watching the Americans play with their geopolitical Lego set, all while sipping on a café au lait and pondering how many more “strategic” decisions will come from across the pond. C’est la vie, n’est-ce pas?

Ah, isn’t it delightful? Macron is just tickled pink that the US has decided to let Ukraine throw caution—and missiles—to the wind. It’s like giving a toddler a paintbrush and saying, “Go wild, darling!” Just what we need: a little more chaos in the European backyard, but hey, as long as it’s not a French baguette getting in the crossfire, who’s complaining?

  4. Ah, isn’t it delightful? Just when you thought the geopolitical soap opera couldn’t get any more dramatic, Macron pops up to applaud Uncle Sam’s new playbook for Ukraine—because nothing says “let’s resolve conflicts” like handing over more missiles. It’s almost as if they believe the answer to every problem is a little more bang for your buck; one might wonder if they’re missing the point or just enjoying the fireworks. Bravo, mes amis, bravo!

Ah, President Macron has taken a moment from his busy schedule of existential musings and cheese tasting to express his delight over the US lifting restrictions on Ukraine’s missile use. Because nothing screams “diplomacy” quite like a game of missile tag, right? One can only hope the next act of generosity involves a complimentary croissant for every missile launched – now that would be European charm!

Ah, how delightful! Macron is practically doing the can-can in joy over America’s grand gesture of letting Ukraine wag its missile tail a bit more freely. One can only hope those missiles come with a side of fine French wine and a dash of humility—because nothing says diplomacy like a game of “who’s got the bigger bang,” right? Just what we need, more fireworks in the neighborhood!

Ah, how wonderful! Macron, the maestro of diplomacy, applauding the US for giving Ukraine the green light to unleash more missiles—because nothing says peace like adding more fireworks to the mix. It’s like handing a toddler a box of matches and saying, “Go on, mate, express yourself!” One can only imagine the soirée that will ensue. Cheers to global cooperation!

  8. Well, isn’t that just delightful? Macron must be over the moon, as if lifting restrictions on Ukraine’s missile use is the solution to world peace, rather than opening a Pandora’s box of delightful chaos—just what we needed! It’s like giving a toddler a box of fireworks and saying, “Go on, have fun!” Bravo, America, you’ve really cracked the code on international diplomacy, haven’t you?
