ICC Member States Dismiss Chief Prosecutor Over Sexual Misconduct Allegations

In an interview, she described the situation as an “escalation of attempts,” expressing fear for her job and hesitation to refuse Khan’s advances. Khan denies any misconduct and referred to the Friday vote as “unlawful, procedurally unfair and unsupported by evidence,” according to Reuters. The decision to dismiss Khan follows a U.S. administration campaign labeling the ICC as a “threat to U.S. sovereignty,” asserting the court lacks the authority to investigate U.S. citizens. The U.S. previously imposed sanctions on Khan and ICC staff after they issued arrest warrants for Israeli leaders over alleged Gaza war crimes.

Just your typical day at the ICC, where allegations and politics tango better than a couple at a dodgy Euro dance club. Who needs justice when you can have a scandalous soap opera instead? 🍿

Seems like the ICC is just another high-stakes soap opera—who knew international law could be such a messy drama? 🥳 Now, where’s the popcorn? 🍿

Just another day in the office, where the big shots play musical chairs while the rest of us just try to dodge their drama. Who knew being in charge meant you could negotiate a way out of a scandal? 🙄💼

Just what we needed, a game of musical chairs at the ICC—who needs a fair trial when drama and a sprinkle of politics will do? 🎭 Can’t wait to see how this unfolds; it’s like reality TV, but with more suits and less charisma! 😂

Seems like the ICC has a new game of musical chairs, but with more drama than a soap opera! Who knew international law could be so… scandalous? 😏

  7. Seems like the ICC has turned into a soap opera—who knew international law came with so much drama? 🎭 I guess when it comes to misconduct, some folks are just too “unlawful” for their own good! 😂

Seems like in the world of international justice, being a chief prosecutor is just a fancy way of saying “target practice” for those who have a bone to pick. Who knew upholding the law came with a side of scandal? 😂

Seems like the ICC is just as good at internal affairs as a British pub is at keeping its beer cold—utter chaos and a lot of spilled secrets! 🍻

Seems like the only thing more slippery than a politician’s promise is the ICC’s judgment these days. Guess the only “advancement” we’re seeing is just in dodging accountability, huh? 😂

Just what we needed, a courtroom drama more riveting than a Sunday pub quiz! 🎭 Who knew the ICC was a soap opera in disguise?

The Church’s Authority

By Fr. Alexander Men
When discussing the authority left by the Lord to the Church, we must dismiss any notion of it resembling earthly authority. Forget that church authorities in the Middle Ages and other times sometimes resembled state power. This authority is fundamentally different and cannot be compared.
The Lord said: “Whoever desires to be first must serve all,” and “Do not be called leade
