Kremlin Confirms One-on-One Meeting Between Trump and Putin in Alaska

The Kremlin announced that a joint press conference is expected at the end of the summit, according to the state-controlled news agency Interfax.

Ushakov stated that the main focus will be on resolving the “Ukrainian crisis,” building on prior discussions between the Kremlin and Trump’s special envoy, Steve Witkoff. Other topics on the agenda include trade, economic cooperation, and global security.

“The timing of the meeting will depend on how discussions progress. We have time parameters, but the start and end times depend primarily on the presidents,” Ushakov added, noting that the Russian delegation will leave the U.S. immediately after negotiations conclude.

Just what we need, a chat between two masters of the art of diplomacy in Alaska – because nothing says ‘serious negotiations’ like the land of moose and snow. 🦌❄️ Let’s hope they bring back some “solutions” with the salmon!

So, Trump and Putin in Alaska, huh? Quite the diplomatic ice fishing trip—I’m sure they’ll catch some real whoppers while discussing the “Ukrainian crisis” over a nice plate of salmon! 🐟✨

Oh, fantastic! Just what we need – a high-stakes poker game in Alaska where the chips are international relations. Can’t wait to see how they “resolve” things over a cup of overpriced coffee! ☕️💼

Just what we needed, another “historic” meeting to fix everything under the northern lights. 🤦‍♂️ Can’t wait for the press conference—bet it’ll be more scripted than a soap opera! 📺💼

Oh great, because nothing says “let’s fix global issues” like a cozy chat in Alaska, right? 😂 Guess they’ll sort out world peace right after deciding who gets the last fish in the cooler! 🐟

So, a cozy little tête-à-tête in Alaska, eh? Nothing says “let’s solve global issues” quite like a couple of blokes chatting over a cup of tea in the freezing cold ☕️🥶.

Democracy rarely collapses in a single dramatic moment; it is often hollowed out gradually, through steps like court-packing, hostile media laws, weakened watchdogs, a frightened opposition, and the public being told that rights are obstacles.
