On 17 September, she also put forward a list of Commissioners-designate and picked their portfolios, echoing the ambitions set out in the Political Guidelines.
The Commissioners-designate appear in public hearings at the European Parliament. After that, the Commission as a whole is authorised in a single vote of consent by the Parliament. The European Council, operating by a qualified majority, formally specifies the Commission’s new leadership

Oh look, another grand circus in Strasbourg, where the clowns are dressed in suits and the only thing getting voted on is who can nod the hardest! 🎪 Can’t wait for the press conference—nothing like a good “we’ll sort it out later” to keep the euros flowing. 😂

Oh joy, another round of “Who Wants to Be a Commissioner?”—because clearly, the last bunch of bureaucrats were just too darn competent! 🤦♂️ Can’t wait for the press conference where they’ll unveil their latest “fresh” ideas—surely, they’ll be as exciting as watching paint dry. 😏
