
Brussels – The European Union has enacted a ban on the sale, export, or transfer of equipment that can be utilized in the production of drones and rockets to Iran.
This decision is part of an enlargement of the EU’s sanctions against Iran, which was approved by the foreign ministers of EU member states on Monday.
In addition, all economic interactions with ports and facilities involved in the shipment of Iranian drones and rockets to Russia are now forbidden.
The updated sanctions list includes one individual and four companies, comprising one Iranian shipping firm and three Russian shipping companies.
