Emma Bale Opens Festival Bazart at 5:45; Parking Sold Out

Werchter (Brussels Morning Newspaper) – Emma Bale opened the festival on a sunny day in Werchter. Mathieu Terryn joined her on stage. Bazart plays at 5:45 PM. Imagine Dragons headline at 10 PM. Parking sold out.

As Nieuwsblad, VRT News reported, Emma Bale started the festival in Werchter, a municipality in the province of Rotselaar, Belgium, singing to a crowd that wasn’t full yet. People relaxed on the grass as they waited for more people to arrive.

She brought Mathieu Terryn from Bazart on stage to sing with her. They sang together for a short time, and everyone cheered loudly. They mentioned that this made everyone excited for Bazart’s full show later at 5:45 PM.

What to expect at a sold-out festival with Imagine Dragons?

The local officials said that the public was well-prepared for the festival. The mayor of Rotselaar, Jelle Wouters, said that all parking tickets were sold out before the event. He told people coming later to take public transport or ride bikes. The festival organisers knew many people would come and arranged more ways to get there.

Shuttle buses went back and forth from the train stations to the festival, and bike racks were full of bicycles. Officials mentioned that because the city, organisers, and people worked together well, the day began smoothly, and everyone had a good time.

The festival organisers are putting in a lot of work to make sure everyone can get to the event and move around easily. A big part of this is the parking at Aarschot station. From there, they have arranged shuttle buses to take people directly to the festival entrance. Nele Bigaré, who works for Live Nation, the team running the festival, is stressing the importance of staying informed.

They have a special page on their website just for travel information, which they update often. They also use Instagram and other social media to keep everyone updated. They mentioned that the goal is to avoid confusion, lessen traffic jams, and provide clear alternatives for people who are driving or using public transportation.

According to officials, the day kicks off with Emma Bale, followed by Dutch singer-songwriter Meau. Next, the British indie star Declan McKenna will perform. Before the headliners, Belgian band Bazart, featuring frontman Mathieu Terryn, will energise the crowd. Then, Jorja Smith, a British singer, will bring her blend of R&B and pop to the stage.

The evening will conclude with American rock band Imagine Dragons, who are scheduled to headline at 10 PM. They are famous for their dynamic live performances and popular songs like “Believer” and “Radioactive,”.

Oh, delightful! Nothing screams “festive fun” like a sold-out parking lot in the middle of nowhere—who needs a car when you can hoof it with the masses? 🚴‍♂️💨

Only in Belgium would a festival start at 5:45 PM and parking be a more scarce commodity than a decent cup of coffee in a train station. 🚗💨 Good luck finding a spot, mate!

Oh, fantastic, a festival where you can enjoy the music while sitting on the grass… and also enjoy the thrill of finding nowhere to park. Who needs a car when you can cycle like a true Belgian, eh? 🚴‍♂️💨

Parking sold out? Brilliant planning, really. Who needs a space for their car when you can just bike in and mingle with the grass? 🚴‍♂️🌱

Typical, isn’t it? A festival that’s sold out on parking but still manages to kick off at 5:45 with a crowd that can be generously described as “fashionably late” 😏. Just what we need—more bicycles than cars, like a scene from a Dutch postcard! 🚲✨

Caught the opening act with Emma Bale while the real show, a.k.a. parking chaos, was in full swing. Who needs a front-row seat when you can enjoy the sweet sound of horns honking and the thrill of a bike ride? 🚲💨
