Andrey Bocharov, governor of Volgograd region, verified the attack on Telegram, indicating it resulted in one fatality, a factory worker, and left 11 others injured.

Ukraine has also targeted Russian-controlled Crimea this week, with drones disabling power in the largest city of the Russian-occupied peninsula, Sevastopol.
