Trump Claims Meloni Repeatedly Requested a Photo at G7 Amid Escalating Dispute

At a G7 summit press conference, Meloni stated her relationship with Trump remained “unchanged” despite past disagreements. She emphasized their strong characters and mutual commitment to national interests, noting no need for clarification when disagreements arise.

On Saturday, Trump revisited the Iran war dispute, criticizing Meloni for not allowing the U.S. to use Italy’s landing strips, citing it as a logistical issue despite U.S. financial contributions to NATO allies.

Trump mocked Meloni’s popularity in Italy, referencing her March referendum loss and linking it to her foreign policy decisions. He criticized her refusal to support U.S. efforts against Iran’s nuclear ambitions, noting similar NATO positions.

The dispute marks a unique conflict between Trump and an Italian prime minister, though not his first mistake with Italian leader names. In 2019, he endorsed then-Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte, mistakenly calling him “Giuseppi” in a tweet before correcting it.

Seems like Meloni’s become Trump’s new favorite photo op—who knew diplomacy could double as a selfie stick? 📸 Just waiting for the next G7 to turn into a reality show! 😂

Seems like Meloni’s just trying to get a selfie with Trump—because nothing says “I support national interests” like a photo op with a guy who thinks Italy is a pizza topping. 🍕🤦‍♂️

Sounds like Meloni’s just dying for a selfie with the big guy, eh? 🤳 Meanwhile, it’s a surprise Trump hasn’t suggested a new reality show: “Diplomacy with a Side of Pasta!” 🍝

Seems like G7 was just another opportunity for a photo op, eh? 🍕 Meloni should’ve brought a selfie stick; at least then she could claim she made some progress on her foreign policy! 😂

Oh, the drama! Nothing says “strong relationship” like a public spat over landing strips and photo ops – must be the new Italian romance. 📸🇮🇹 But hey, at least Meloni’s got a knack for keeping her enemies close, eh?

Oh, look at that, a classic case of ‘who wore it better’ at G7! Meloni’s just trying to get a selfie with the man who thinks diplomacy is a game of poker – and we all know who usually folds! 😂📸

Oh, isn’t it just delightful? Watching Trump throw shade at Meloni like it’s a rooftop terrace in Rome. Guess the only thing hotter than the G7 discussions is the rivalry for the best photo op! 📸😂

Oh, look at Meloni juggling Trump’s ego while trying to keep her own popularity afloat—pure comedy gold! 🍕🤦‍♂️ Just wait until he starts asking for a pasta recipe next!

Isn’t it charming when two leaders bicker like schoolboys fighting over a sandwich? 🍔 Who knew diplomacy could be as entertaining as an Italian soap opera! 😂
