New Louvre President Appointed Following Spectacular Heist

Managing the aftermath of the crisis has been a top priority for Dati. Earlier this month, Dati announced she would step down from her ministerial role to run for mayor. However, three individuals close to her discussions with Prime Minister Sébastien Lecornu, speaking anonymously, revealed that she is trying to retain her position for as long as possible. “She wants to be seen as the one who resolved the Louvre issue,” stated a source close to Macron.

Des Cars told Le Figaro in an interview that her resignation was timed to ensure the Louvre’s modernization plans proceed without interruption. “The Minister of Culture asked me to steer through the storm, which I did with composure. I am satisfied and proud of my achievements. But mere perseverance isn’t enough,” she remarked.

In a statement addressing des Cars’ departure on Tuesday evening, Dati’s Culture Ministry stated that the incident had “unsettled an institution central to our nation’s cultural and heritage prominence.”

  1. Oh, a new Louvre President after a heist? Just what we needed – more art in the hands of those who can’t even keep their wallets safe! 😂 Hope she brings a proper security team along with her modernization plans!

Blimey, just what we need—another captain steering the sinking ship of the Louvre after a heist that would make even a Hollywood scriptwriter blush. 🤦‍♂️ Modernize all you want, but at this rate, I half expect to see the Mona Lisa with a security tag! 🖼️💰

Right, because nothing says “I’m in control” like appointing a new Louvre president right after a heist. Who knew art theft could be a career advancement opportunity? 🎨💼

Looks like Dati’s on a real treasure hunt—who knew being a Louvre president came with more drama than a telenovela? 🕵️‍♂️ Good luck modernizing while dodging heists, love! #CultureShock

Oh, fantastic! Nothing says “cultural prominence” like a heist at the Louvre—who knew modern art needed a getaway car? 🎨💨

  6. Typical French drama, isn’t it? One minute you’re popping corks at the Louvre, the next you’re dodging the press like a cat at a dog show. 🍷😏
