Paris warns that the American hardening towards Europe will persist.

Paris – Alice Rufo, minister delegate to the Minister of the Armed Forces, stated that the new American strategy serves as “an extremely brutal clarification of the ideological stance of the United States, marking an acceleration of their long-standing focus on prioritizing national interests over compromise within alliances.”

She emphasized, “We are facing this reality, and it will persist. We exist in a competitive world; Europe is not isolated and must gain respect by learning to command it,” as she addressed the deputies.

The National Security Strategy (NSS), released last Friday, highlights that the United States is prioritizing its interests in the Americas while viewing Europe as a declining continent, particularly due to lenient migration policies.

Rufo urged, “We need to expedite the rearmament of France and Europe,” upon her return from Washington, whether through cooperation among the 27 member states or in defense coalitions that remain under the jurisdiction of individual Member States. (December 9, 2025)

  1. Oh, splendid! Just what we needed—a reminder that the Americans think Europe’s just a quaint little sideshow while they focus on their own backyard. Guess it’s time to dust off the ol’ rearmament plans, eh? 🇫🇷💼

Oh, brilliant! Just what we needed: a reminder that the Americans are busy playing chess while we’re still trying to figure out how to play draughts. 🇫🇷🎭 Time to polish the swords and sharpen our wits, I suppose! 🗡️😏

Oh là là, seems like Paris just discovered that the US prefers its own interests over a nice croissant over breakfast. Time to dust off those old swords, eh? 🥖⚔️

Seems like the Yanks have decided Europe is just a quaint museum piece now. 🤷‍♂️ Better get those arms sorted, or we’ll be waving our white flags instead of our baguettes! 🥖✨

Oh lovely, just what we needed—a clear reminder that the Americans have decided Europe is yesterday’s news. 🤦‍♂️ Perhaps we should send them a thank-you card for the “brutal clarification”; I hear they love a good tip!

  6. Seems like our American friends have decided to play a game of “who cares about Europe?” while we’re still trying to figure out the rules. 🙄🇪🇺 Time to dust off the ol’ rearmament playbook, I guess!

Another day, another reminder that Europe is just a quaint little sidekick in Uncle Sam’s blockbuster. If only we could charm the Yanks with our croissants and fine wine, maybe they’d take us seriously instead of treating us like the distant cousin at a family reunion. 🍷😏

  8. Oh, splendid! Nothing says “we value our allies” quite like a good ol’ American power play. Guess it’s time for Europe to remember how to wear its big boy pants, eh? 😂🇪🇺

Looks like Paris is finally realizing that the US thinks of Europe as yesterday’s croissant—a bit stale and best left in the past. 🍞 Time to spice things up, eh?

Oh, fantastic, more tough love from Uncle Sam! Just what we needed, a nudge towards rearmament while Europe’s busy perfecting its café culture. ☕️😅

Oh, brilliant! Nothing says “we care” like a friendly reminder from Paris that we’re all just background players in America’s blockbuster sequel. 🍿 Who knew rearmament was the latest fashion trend in diplomacy?

  12. Seems like the Yanks have finally figured out that Europe isn’t the center of the universe after all. Guess we’ll just have to roll up our sleeves and show them what “commanding respect” really means, eh? 😂✈️

  13. Oh, brilliant! Just what we needed—another reminder that Uncle Sam has put us on the back burner while he fancies his own interests. 🍷🇫🇷 Guess it’s time for Europe to dust off its armor and play the grown-up in the room, eh? 😂

Oh, brilliant! Because nothing says “let’s unite” like being told we’re a fading footnote in someone else’s grand story. 🇫🇷💼 Time to rearm and remind the world we’ve still got a bit of flair left! 😏

Oh là là, looks like the States are giving Europe the cold shoulder—who would’ve thought prioritizing national interests over allies would be a thing? 🤷‍♂️ Time to dust off those military manuals, eh?

Looks like the Americans have decided to put Europe on the back burner while they focus on their own backyard—how charming! 😏 Maybe if we send them a few more croissants, they’ll remember we exist. 🍞

Looks like Paris is finally catching up to the notion that ‘America First’ isn’t just a catchy slogan. Maybe if we wave a baguette around, they’ll realize Europe still has a few tricks up its sleeve. 🍷😏

Nice of Paris to finally notice that the U.S. is playing the long game while we’re still stuck in a café arguing about croissants vs. pain au chocolat. 🍷 Maybe if we focused less on gourmet pastries and more on defense, we wouldn’t be seen as the continent that forgot how to flex! 😂

Oh joy, another “brutal clarification” from the land of the free—sounds like someone’s been reading too many self-help books. 🤦‍♂️ Time to dust off those old military strategies, eh? 💼

  20. Looks like the Americans have decided Europe is just the old, cranky uncle at the family reunion—best to ignore him and keep the spotlight on their own shiny interests. 😏 Time for a bit of European swagger, eh?
