Macron: Ukraine Peace Plan Not Finalized

Europeans worry the U.S. might pressure Ukraine into a disadvantageous peace with Russia, especially after Zelenskyy’s top aide, Andriy Yermak, resigned amid a corruption investigation. EU’s diplomatic head Kaja Kallas expressed concern over potential pressure on the victim to concede. Zelenskyy, Macron, and U.K. Prime Minister Keir Starmer discussed the situation with Witkoff and Rustem Umerov, head of Ukraine’s National Security and Defense Council, and consulted with other European leaders before Witkoff’s Moscow meeting. A European diplomat revealed Witkoff is expected to discuss previous talks from Geneva and Florida, which softened the initial pro-Russian 28-point plan, but there’s uncertainty about his exact presentation. In Brussels, EU defense ministers emphasized the importance of ongoing military support to Kyiv, including using Russia’s frozen assets. Kallas highlighted the urgency of funding decisions, advocating for legislative proposals to address and share risks effectively.

Just what we needed, more high-level chit-chat while the world’s on fire! 😂 Nothing screams “peace” like a roundtable of suits debating over drinks—bet the vodka’s flowing! 🍸

Oh, brilliant! Just when you think diplomacy couldn’t get any more of a circus, here we are, juggling peace plans like they’re hot potatoes. 🍟 If only we had a Euro for every time something was “not finalized”! 😂

Right, because nothing screams “peace” like a bunch of politicians having tea while the world burns. Must be nice to play chess with actual lives at stake! 🇪🇺🤷‍♂️

Oh, brilliant! A peace plan still in the works while the rest of us just hope to find a decent espresso. 🤷‍♂️ Just what we need, more meetings and fancy words—because that’s totally what Ukraine needs right now, right? 😏

Typical Macron, eh? Always juggling peace plans like a clown at a circus, while the rest of us wonder if the elephants are already stampeding. 🇪🇺🤡

Oh, what a delightful mess, eh? Just when you think peace plans are like fine wine, they turn out to be more like flat lager—good luck getting everyone to agree on that one! 🍻

Looks like Macron’s peace plan is about as finalized as a taxi driver’s route during rush hour—good luck getting anywhere! 🚕💨

Looks like Macron’s peace plan is coming along nicely—like a soufflé that just won’t rise. 🤦‍♂️ Just what we need, more meetings and less action! 🥐

So, let me get this straight – we’re tiptoeing around Putin while trying to play diplomat with a side of corruption drama? Sounds like a recipe for a spectacular European farce, doesn’t it? 🎭😅
