Another Explosion at House in Temse, Investigation Ongoing

Temse (Eurotoday) – Another explosion occurred on Hoogkamerstraat in Temse last night, Oct 27, 2025. Police, forensic teams, and DOVO are investigating the deliberate attack. No injuries were reported, and residents are urged to share information.

As VRT News reported, on Oct 27, 2025, another explosion occurred on Hoogkamerstraat in Temse, in the province of East Flanders, Belgium. The blast happened at around 3:45 a.m. in front of a house next to the one hit by an earlier explosion. 

Police, forensic teams, and the DOVO bomb disposal unit arrived quickly to secure the area. The public prosecutor confirmed that the explosion was deliberate. Authorities are investigating the case as intentional arson. 

What caused the repeated explosions on Hoogkamerstraat in Temse?

No injuries were reported. Still, the neighbourhood remains tense after the second blast. Residents said they are alarmed and anxious about the repeated attacks. Police urged anyone with information to come forward.

The first explosion on Hoogkamerstraat occurred on Sunday evening, Oct 26, 2025. Emergency services found burning debris at the front door of a detached house. Investigators believe the attacker may have used a firebomb to ignite the blaze. No injuries were reported, and the house suffered only minor smoke damage. The public prosecutor confirmed that the incident was a deliberate act of arson.
