Swedish Bodyguards Disclose PM’s Location via Fitness App

Swedish security service members have been accused of revealing the prime minister’s location, including his private address, by sharing their running and cycling routes on the fitness app Strava.

As reported by Swedish daily Dagens Nyheter, bodyguards uploaded their workouts to the app 35 times, disclosing information about Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson such as his running routes, overnight trips abroad, and the location of his private residence.

Strava data was also connected to the Swedish royal family, former Prime Minister Magdalena Andersson, and Jimmie Åkesson, leader of the Sweden Democrats party.

Dagens Nyheter noted that a bodyguard posted running details in Bodø, Norway, while Kristersson met with Norwegian and Finnish leaders, Jonas Gahr Støre and Alexander Stubb. Kristersson later shared a photo of the leaders running together on social media.

Looks like the Swedish bodyguards took “keeping up with the PM” a bit too literally—who knew fitness could double as a GPS for the paparazzi? 🤦‍♂️🏃‍♂️

Fancy that, eh? Who knew keeping track of a PM’s jogs could turn into a national security breach? Maybe they were just trying to give the fitness app a new meaning—“Strava: for when you want the world to know your every move! 🏃‍♂️💼”

Brilliant move, lads! Nothing says “top-notch security” like broadcasting the PM’s address on Strava while jogging—guess it’s time to add “Fitness Influencer” to the bodyguard’s resume! 😂🏃‍♂️

Look at that, who needs spies when you have Swedish bodyguards giving away the PM’s location like it’s a Groupon deal for the latest fitness craze? 🤦‍♂️ Must be quite the cardio workout dodging all those nosy Strava users! 😂

Oh brilliant, who needs spies when you’ve got bodyguards sharing their morning jogs with the whole world? Next time, perhaps they’ll throw in a map and a welcome mat for good measure! 😂🏃‍♂️

Nothing says “top-notch security” like accidentally GPS-tracking the PM’s morning jog. Maybe next time, just stick to a good ol’ paper map, eh? 😂📍

So, it turns out that Sweden’s elite bodyguards are also part-time tour guides for the prime minister’s private life – who knew fitness could be such a revealing hobby? 🏃‍♂️📍 Maybe they should swap the running shoes for a good old-fashioned map, eh? 😏

Just what we needed, eh? A fitness app turning into a GPS for the PM’s morning jogs—who knew security could be so… active? 😂🏃‍♂️

Just when you thought Swedish bodyguards were the epitome of discretion, they go and give the PM’s address a cheeky shoutout on Strava. 🏃‍♂️💨 Next level transparency, or simply a masterclass in how not to do your job, eh? 😂

Just brilliant, isn’t it? Nothing says “top-notch security” quite like your bodyguards turning into amateur geographers on Strava, sharing the PM’s secret hideouts like it’s a casual Saturday run. 😂🏃‍♂️
