EDF signs agreement to sell its power solutions in North America
After a competitive process, EDF has signed an agreement where KKR commits to acquiring EDF power solutions’ operations and assets in the U.S. and Canada, with the option for EDF to sell these assets.
EDF power solutions focuses on clean energy solutions, including the development, construction, and operation of renewable power plants, storage systems, smart EV charging, and microgrids. The company provides solutions across the value chain, from origination to operation, managing a renewable asset portfolio of 5.6GW net capacity in the USA and Canada.
The transaction is subject to an information and consultation process with employee representatives and governance body approval.
