The Steering Committee of the EU4Youth project convened for its second meeting, presided over by Olta Manjani, the Albanian Deputy Minister of Economy, Culture and Innovation, alongside Miha Pezelj from the European Union delegation in Albania.
This meeting brought together essential partners to review the progress of the Youth Guarantee pilot and the implementation of “EU4Youth”.
The Youth Guarantee represents the EU’s key initiative aimed at helping young individuals enter the labor market.
The objective is to ensure that every young person in Albania receives a quality job, educational, or vocational training opportunity within four months of registering at Employment Offices.
So far, approximately 2000 young individuals from Tirana, Shkodra, and Vlora have benefitted from job, education, or training offers through the Youth Guarantee program, which is executed by AKPA with the assistance of the EU4Youth project.
Supported by the EU and implemented by UNDP and UNICEF Albania, the EU4Youth project facilitates the execution of the program in three municipalities: Tirana, Shkodra, and Vlorë. (July 17)
