Tehran: US ‘Failed to Gain Trust’ of Iran Negotiators in Pakistan

Discussions stretching into the night between Washington and Tehran in Islamabad reached an impasse late Saturday, with U.S. Vice President JD Vance announcing that Iran had “chosen not to accept our terms.”

Vance stated that U.S. negotiators sought assurance that Iran would not pursue a nuclear weapon. President Donald Trump commented in a Truth Social post that Iran was “very unyielding” on this “single most important issue.”

In another post, Trump declared that the U.S. would soon “begin the process of BLOCKADING any and all ships trying to enter, or leave, the Strait of Hormuz,” warning that “any Iranian who fires at us, or at peaceful vessels, will be BLOWN TO HELL!”

Trump minimized the significance of the ceasefire discussions on Saturday, suggesting that securing a peace agreement “makes no difference.” Speaking to reporters outside the White House, the president claimed military victory over Iran and remarked about the talks in Pakistan: “We win regardless.”

Looks like the US negotiators forgot their magic wand again; maybe next time they should bring some chocolate and a nice bottle of wine to the table, eh? 🍷🤷‍♂️

Looks like the art of diplomacy is just as popular as a warm beer in a British pub. Who knew negotiating with Iran would be as fruitful as a vegan sausage at a meat festival? 🍻

Looks like diplomacy’s taking a holiday, eh? 🤷‍♂️ Who knew that asking someone to give up their toys would be so controversial? Classic! 🇮🇷✈️

Oh, brilliant move by the U.S. – who knew that playing hardball with Iran would lead to… well, more hardball? 🎱 Keep up the good work, lads; maybe next time try a game of chess instead of charades! 😂

Looks like the U.S. is really killing it in the art of diplomacy – who knew a game of “catch me if you can” could be this entertaining? 😂 Just what we needed, more talks that lead to nowhere faster than a London cab in rush hour! 🚕💨

  6. Oh, brilliant! Who needs diplomacy when you can have a good old-fashioned shouting match? 🤷‍♂️ Maybe next time they can bring some tea and biscuits to make it more civilized! 🍵😏

Looks like the U.S. is trying to negotiate with Iran like a bloke haggling over a dodgy vintage watch in a market – but surprise surprise, the seller’s not biting! 😂 Seems like diplomacy’s gone on holiday while the rest of us are stuck in the office, eh?

Oh, brilliant! Nothing says diplomacy like a good old-fashioned blockade and a “we win regardless” mentality. 😂 Who knew international relations was just a game of poker with no stakes?

  9. If only diplomacy were as easy as blowing up a balloon – but here we are, stuck in another round of “who blinks first” while our leaders play chess with checkers. 🎭🇮🇷

  10. Looks like diplomacy in Islamabad is going as smoothly as a double-decker bus in a narrow alley. Who knew negotiating with Iran would be such a walk in the park, eh? 🤷‍♂️

Oh, brilliant, just what we needed—another round of diplomatic charades in a country where trust is as rare as a sunny day in London. 🤦‍♂️ Guess they’ll be needing more than just a stiff upper lip to sort this one out!

Oh, delightful! Who knew negotiating with Iran would turn out to be as easy as herding cats? 🤦‍♂️ Maybe next time, we should just send a fruit basket instead! 🍏🍍
