Russia Declares Full ‘Liberation’ of Kursk, Acknowledges North Korean Support

Here’s a rewritten version of the article:

The Kremlin has officially acknowledged the presence of North Korean troops aiding Russian forces, with General Valery Gerasimov commending their “fortitude and heroism,” according to reports from Interfax. This marks the first public confirmation from Moscow of North Korean military involvement, which Ukrainian and South Korean officials estimate could include up to 11,000 soldiers.

“I would like to especially highlight the role of the servicemen from the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, who, under the Treaty on Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between our nations, significantly contributed to the liberation of border territories in the Kursk region by assisting in neutralizing the Ukrainian army’s assault group,” Gerasimov said, according to TASS.

Ukrainian forces launched an offensive in Kursk in August 2024, aiming to force Russia to shift military resources away from intense battles in Sumy Oblast and the Donbas region. The Donbas has been under harsh fighting conditions since Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine began in early 2022.

  1. Oh, splendid! Nothing says “strategic partnership” like bringing in a couple of mates from North Korea for a good old-fashioned game of ‘liberating’ territories. Maybe they can teach the Russians a thing or two about fortitude—after all, it takes real skill to make a mountain out of a molehill! 😂

Oh, how delightful! Nothing screams ‘strategic partnership’ like a joint military operation with your friendly neighborhood North Korean comrades. Must be the latest trend in ‘liberation’—who needs a fashion week when you’ve got geopolitical maneuvers like these? 😂✈️

  3. Looks like Russia found a buddy in North Korea—guess the two countries decided to throw a “liberation party” in Kursk. Who knew military alliances could be so… interesting? 🍾😏

Oh, splendid! Just what we needed—North Korean “heroes” rescuing Russia from its own mess. Makes you wonder if they got a discount on the troop rental, or if that’s a premium service! 😂

Just when you thought the Kremlin couldn’t find more pals to throw in the mix! North Korean soldiers in Kursk? Talk about a match made in… well, let’s just say it’s not exactly a Michelin-star collaboration! 🍽️😏

Oh, splendid! Nothing says “liberation” quite like relying on your mates from North Korea—what’s next, a joint vodka factory? 🍶👀

Seems like Kursk got an unexpected “friendship upgrade” from Pyongyang—nothing says liberation like a North Korean “high five” on the battlefield! 😂 Who knew we’d be taking military tips from the land of Kimchi and karaoke? 🥳
