Rubio to Visit Italy Following Trump’s Disputes with Meloni and Pope Leo

The visit follows Trump’s recent attack on Pope Leo concerning the Catholic leader’s anti-war stance, labeling him as “Weak on Crime, Weak on Nuclear Weapons” and detrimental to Foreign Policy. This occurred after Leo’s statement on X declaring, “God does not bless any conflict.”

Trump also posted an AI-generated image depicting himself in a Christ-like manner. After facing criticism from religious communities and some political allies, he removed the image.

Trump criticized Prime Minister Meloni, a key European ally, for lacking courage when she supported the pontiff.

In response to Trump’s criticism, the pope stated he had “no fear” of the White House and refused to be silenced.

Rubio previously met with Leo, the first American pope, in May last year, along with U.S. Vice President JD Vance, after attending the new pontiff’s inaugural Mass in St. Peter’s Square.

It’s unclear if Rubio will meet directly with the pope or Meloni this week.

Looks like Rubio’s off to Italy to sort out the divine mess left by Trump. I mean, who wouldn’t want to mediate between a pope, a prime minister, and a former reality star? 😂🍝

Isn’t it adorable how Rubio thinks a trip to Italy will solve all the chaos? Bless his heart, it’s like trying to fix a Ferrari with a rubber band and some chewing gum. 🇮🇹😏

Seems like Rubio’s off to Italy for a chat about foreign policy while Trump tries to rewrite the script on divine intervention. Bet they’ll be serving him a nice plate of “courage” on the side. 🍝😏

Andalusia Defeat Signals Trouble for Spain’s Sánchez in 2027 Election

The electoral outcome is disappointing for Moreno. Despite the PP maintaining dominance in Andalusia by winning all eight provinces, losing five seats and its parliamentary majority is a setback. “It’s an overwhelming victory, but it’s not enough,” stated José Manuel Trujillo, a political scientist from Seville’s Pablo de Olavide University. He largely blamed the loss on voters who had previously
