Modi Urges a Tense Putin to End the Ukraine War

Modi emphasized the need for a peace settlement, citing figures like Gandhi and Mother Teresa, and stated India’s support for peace efforts. Putin acknowledged Modi’s message, expressing agreement on the direction. Russia persists in demanding that the end of the Ukraine conflict be on its own terms, which Ukraine rejects, as recent attacks on Ukraine have intensified. Russia is rumored to be preparing a massive troop mobilization and heightened ground offensives. Concurrently, Ukraine has increased drone strikes on Russian energy structures and retail warehouses. Although Modi’s call for peace was direct, India remains a major trade partner with Russia, being one of the largest importers of Russian oil and having recently supplied gasoline to Russia.

Oh, how lovely, a peace summit where good ol’ Modi channels his inner Gandhi while pouring petrol on the fire. Can’t wait for the next episode of “As the World Turns” where everyone hugs it out over a cuppa! 🍵

Seems like Modi’s got the peace game all figured out while still cashing in on that sweet Russian oil. Nothing says “let’s end the war” quite like filling your tank with the spoils of conflict, eh? 😂💰

Mate, who knew Modi could channel Gandhi and Mother Teresa while keeping the Russian oil flowing? Just what we need, a peace summit with a side of hypocrisy! 😂💼
