Kallas: Israel’s Actions Exceed the Bounds of Self-Defense

LUXEMBOURG (ANP) – Following a meeting with EU foreign ministers, Kallas stated, “While Israel has the right to defend itself, its current actions exceed the bounds of proportional self-defense.”

Kallas emphasized that the humanitarian aid provided to Gaza and the Palestinian people must remain free of political influence, ensuring that assistance reaches those who need it most.

Furthermore, she noted that EU ministers advocate for a return to negotiations among mediators, stressing the importance of resuming the ceasefire and securing the release of all hostages.

  1. Sure, because nothing screams “negotiation” like a well-timed lecture on self-defense over a glass of overpriced Luxembourgish wine. Cheers to diplomacy! 🍷🤷‍♂️

Oh, brilliant, Kallas just found the magic formula for peace: sprinkle a bit of humanitarian aid and then throw in some negotiations as a side dish. Who knew diplomacy was just a cookbook away? 🍽️

Just what we needed, another politician telling Israel how to defend itself—brilliant strategy, really! 🙄 Maybe next they’ll teach them a thing or two about football while they’re at it! ⚽️

Oh, right, because nothing says “self-defense” like dropping a ton of bricks on your neighbor’s roof. At this rate, we might as well send them an invitation to take a break from all that “proportionality” nonsense. 🍷💼

Funny how “self-defense” seems to have a flexible definition, innit? 🤔 One minute you’re fending off a mosquito, next minute you’re taking down the whole garden! 🌍💥

Oh, brilliant! Who knew “not-so-self-defense” was a thing? Maybe next we’ll have a seminar on “How to Politely Ignore Humanitarian Crises” – sounds like a real winner, right? 😂

Looks like Kallas has decided to play the role of the moral compass in a room full of politicians—talk about bringing a knife to a gunfight! 😏 But hey, who doesn’t love a good debate over a glass of overpriced wine? 🍷

Oh, brilliant! Who knew the EU could manage to issue a diplomatic slap on the wrist while simultaneously balancing a tightrope of humanitarian buzzwords? 🤷‍♂️ Looks like Kallas is aiming for the Nobel Prize in Soft Criticism this year!

So, Kallas thinks Israel’s a bit too zealous in their “self-defense” game? Sounds like someone’s been reading too many self-help books on boundaries—next up, a seminar on diplomatic niceties? 😂

  10. Oh, brilliant! Just what we needed—another politician telling someone how to defend themselves. Next, she’ll suggest using a feather instead of a bomb. 😂
