
Brussels – French President Emmanuel Macron stated upon his arrival in Brussels that after a period of “escalation” and “threats,” the situation has improved significantly, but emphasized the need for continued “vigilance.” He urged the United States to show “respect” towards Europe.
Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk reiterated that while Europeans accept American “leadership,” they do not tolerate “domination” or “coercion.”
In a meeting with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte, the billionaire has temporarily dismissed the idea of using force to take control of the Danish autonomous territory and has abandoned plans for new customs duties following a “framework” agreement reached in Davos on Wednesday. However, European leaders are advocating for caution.
