EU Seeks Involvement in International Transitional Authority for Gaza (Kallas)

Kuwait – European foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas stated on Monday that Europe has a significant role to play in the context of a potential EU involvement in the “Peace Committee” proposed in U.S. President Donald Trump’s plan for Gaza, in response to a journalist’s inquiry.

During her visit to Kuwait, Ms. Kallas highlighted that the EU is the largest donor of humanitarian aid to Palestinians and maintains connections with both the Palestinian Authority and Israel.

“Europe should not just be a financial contributor but also an active participant,” she remarked during a media briefing held alongside a ministerial meeting involving Gulf nations and the EU.

“We have been collaborating on the peace plan and working together with our Arab allies. They recognize that it is crucial for all parties for us to be involved,” she added. “We hope the Israelis will also agree to this.” (October 6, 2025)

So, let me get this straight—Europe wants to play peacemaker in Gaza while also being the biggest charity box? Sounds like a classic case of “putting the cart before the horse,” eh? 😂

Looks like Europe’s on the brink of becoming the star player in a geopolitical game of charades. Who knew our biggest contribution would be a donation to the “let’s pretend we’re in charge” fund? 😂

Seems like Europe’s ready to step into the Gaza fray, like a waiter trying to serve a Michelin meal in a bistro! 🍽️ Let’s hope they don’t trip over their own feet while playing the saviors! 😅

Looks like Europe is ready to step into the ring for the peace championship—because who wouldn’t want to be the referee in a game where the score is always 0-0? 😏 Let’s just hope they don’t bring their checkbook instead of a plan!

Oh, marvellous, just what we need—more European involvement in a peace process! Nothing says “we care” like throwing money at a problem while hoping the Israelis RSVP to our little party. 🍷💸

  7. Seems like Europe’s finally dusted off its passport and is ready for a holiday in Gaza—who knew flipping the checkbook wasn’t the only job requirement for peacekeeping? 😂✈️

  8. Oh, look at Europe, flexing its financial muscles while hoping for a VIP pass to the peace party in Gaza! 🎉 Because nothing says “we care” like throwing cash and hoping for the best, right? 😂

Looks like the EU’s decided to trade in its cheque book for a seat at the peace table—how very audacious! 🧐 Let’s just hope they bring more than just their usual ‘generous donations’ to the mix, or this’ll be a real laugh! 😂

Just what we need, another European plan to save the world—because who doesn’t love a good game of “who can throw money at a problem the fastest”? 🙄💸

Oh, splendid! Just what we need—more EU involvement in a “peace” plan that even our coffee breaks are more productive than. Let’s hope the Israelis see the light before we start taking turns with the check! 😂💸
