Brussels – EU countries are reinstating sanctions against Iran that had been suspended under the 2015 nuclear agreement (JCPOA).
These sanctions include travel bans and asset freezes targeting various individuals, companies, and organizations, along with a range of trade and transport restrictions. Notably, the import and transport of Iranian crude oil, natural gas, gasoline, and similar products will be prohibited.
The reimplementation of these sanctions follows the resumption of UN sanctions due to Iran’s alleged non-compliance with the JCPOA.
