Ankara (Brussels Morning Newspaper) – On Saturday, Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan stated that Israel’s attacks on Iran, which came just before a new round of nuclear talks with the US, were meant to undermine the negotiations. This, he said, demonstrated that Israel was not interested in resolving issues through diplomacy.
From June 21-22, 2025, the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) convenes its 51st Session of the Council of Foreign Ministers in Istanbul, Türkiye. The meeting takes place amid escalating tensions in the Middle East, particularly the ongoing conflict between Israel and Iran.
Addressing a meeting of foreign ministers from the Organization of Islamic Cooperation in Istanbul, Erdogan called on influential countries to ignore Israel’s “poison” and work towards a diplomatic solution to the conflict, rather than letting it escalate further.
He also urged Muslim countries to step up their efforts to impose penalties against Israel, based on international law and UN resolutions.
How does Erdogan view Netanyahu’s recent decisions?
Additionally, just a few days ago, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan blank”>criticised Israel’s attack on Iran, labelling it a “blatant provocation” that ignores international law and puts regional and global stability at risk.
According to Erdogan, the Netanyahu government’s “reckless, lawless, and aggressive actions” pose a threat of dragging the Middle East and the world into disaster.
He said that they “do not want to see more bloodshed, destruction, or conflict” in the region.
“The international community must put an end to Israel’s banditry, which threatens global and regional stability,”
Erdogan stated.

Typical Erdogan, eh? Just when you think the Middle East couldn’t get any more dramatic, he pops up with his latest soap opera. 🎭

Looks like Erdogan’s got a PhD in drama – calling Israel’s strikes “banditry” while he’s juggling his own diplomatic circus. 🤡 Who needs diplomacy when you can throw around accusations like confetti, eh?

Erdogan’s calling out Israel like a pub owner scolding rowdy patrons—everyone knows the real party’s the nuclear talks, but hey, who needs diplomacy when you can throw a tantrum instead? 😂

Typical Erdogan, always playing the “let’s blame Israel” card while juggling his own regional circus. Guess diplomacy is a bit too boring when you can throw around accusations like confetti! 😂

Just what we need, a masterclass in diplomacy from Erdogan! 🙄 Maybe next he’ll teach us how to brew peace while brewing Turkish coffee. ☕️
-
Seems like Erdogan’s got his diplomatic hat on while throwing shade at Israel’s “creative negotiation tactics.” 😂 Maybe next time, he can suggest a bake sale instead of talks? 🍰
-
Looks like Erdogan’s got his knickers in a twist again over Israel – maybe he thinks the nuclear talks are more like a football match, and he’s just trying to score a few cheap points. 🙄✨
-
Erdogan’s really nailed it, hasn’t he? I mean, who needs diplomacy when you can just throw around accusations like confetti at a wedding, right? 😂✌️
-
Looks like Erdogan’s ready to solve the Middle East crisis over a cup of Turkish tea—because nothing says diplomacy like calling your neighbor a bandit! 😏☕️
-
Oh, look at Erdogan trying to play the peacekeeper while juggling more drama than a Turkish soap opera. 😏 As if Israel would take diplomatic advice from someone who thinks a strong coffee is a suitable substitute for a strong stance! 🍵
-
Oh, look who’s suddenly the voice of diplomacy! 🇹🇷 Maybe next time Erdogan can host a tea party for world leaders instead of throwing around accusations like confetti. ☕️🎉

Seems like Erdogan’s mastered the art of diplomacy—by throwing stones at Israel while calling for peace. Classic move, really—like asking a fox to guard the henhouse. 🦊💼
