CSG Advances Into the Next Phase of Global Growth: Strengthening

Press ReleaseThis article is based on a press release or official communication from Wire News Service. The European Times republishes it as a public service.

Previously Czech and Slovak, CSG now attracts talent from top defence companies like Rheinmetall, Northrop Grumman, Raytheon, BAE Systems, General Dynamics, and Kongsberg. Foreign acquisitions, rapid growth, and a stock market listing have made CSG a top choice for experienced managers in the global defence industry.

“People are mainly drawn by the chance to build something real. In major corporations, managers often maintain existing systems. At CSG, top global experts can rapidly implement their ideas, participate in strategic decisions, and directly influence group direction. That’s why more experienced managers choose CSG for their next career step,” says Michal Strnad, majority owner and Chairman of the Board of CSG.

From Czech Origins to Global Impact

Through foreign acquisitions, such as Spain’s FMG and the US-based The Kinetic Group, CSG has become a key player in the global defence industry. With over 14,000 employees and production facilities in Europe, the USA, and Asia, CSG is building a globally reflective management team.

“Years ago, we had to convince candidates to take a business with Czechoslovakian roots seriously. Now, we engage with people from companies like Rheinmetall, Northrop Grumman, BAE Systems, and Kongsberg, who follow CSG’s progress independently. This is the clearest proof of our transformation,” says Alena Kozáková, Board of Directors member and HR Director of CSG.

IPO Enhances Global Talent Attraction

CSG’s January 2026 stock market listing enhanced its international profile, confirming its status as a leading defence group in Europe. This sparked interest from managers with backgrounds in global corporations.

“The IPO significantly changed CSG’s global perception. For many managers, it affirmed that CSG matched the size and governance of major global entities. That helps us attract these professionals,” adds Alena Kozáková.

New Growth Phase Brings New Roles

CSG’s transformation is seen in both new hires and new management positions, such as Group Chief Strategy Officer, held by Thomas Berge Nielsen since April. He joined CSG after over a decade at Rheinmetall, previously also at Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace.

“At Rheinmetall, I helped build a top European defence company. Watching CSG’s growth, I saw a unique opportunity where regional success led to global presence, maintaining quick decision-making. This mix of scale, ambition, and entrepreneurship drew me to the group. Many big firms struggle to sustain growth; CSG looks to grow faster. Such opportunities are rare,” says Nielsen.

Looks like CSG is pulling a classic “from zero to hero” move, attracting the crème de la crème of defence talent while we all sit here sipping our espresso and wondering when our own companies will stop being like an old Fiat stuck in traffic. 🚗💨 Cheers to them for making it look easy!

So, CSG is suddenly the belle of the ball, eh? Next, they’ll be inviting us all to their IPO party with champagne and a side of global dominance. 🍾✨

  4. If CSG’s growth phase is anything like their knack for foreign acquisitions, I might just start taking notes on how to charm the socks off the next big player in the taxi biz. 🍻 “Czech” it out, they’re going global faster than I can say “pint!”

So, CSG’s gone from a quaint little Czech operation to a global defence hotshot overnight, eh? Must be all the charm from those fancy foreign acquisitions – who knew merging companies was the secret sauce? 😏

Seems like CSG is on a global growth spree—who knew a bunch of Czech lads could charm the big boys of defence? 🤔 Next stop, world domination, or at least a fancy lunch in Brussels! 🍽️
