Construction on the site surrounding Dirk Boutslaan and Franz Thielemanslaan in Leuven has recommenced after the successful completion of crane repairs. The malfunction occurred when a crane’s support arm failed during a stone-lifting procedure, causing several stones to fall from a significant height.
Fortunately, the incident resulted in no injuries or damage to surrounding property. Authorities promptly sealed off the affected area to ensure public safety while specialists dismantled and removed the faulty crane mechanism.
