Allies Deny Brigitte Slapped Macron Over Texts With Iranian Actress

On RTL radio on Wednesday, Tardif claimed President Macron had a “platonic relationship” with Farahani for several months, with some exchanges going “quite far,” as per people close to Macron. Tardif mentioned a message to Farahani saying, “I find you very attractive.”

The Elysée initially called the slap reports fake news and later as “horseplay,” with no official response. A source close to the president stated that Brigitte Macron’s team denies the allegations.

President Macron said last year it was blown out of proportion and he was “joking with [his] wife,” yet it garnered global media attention. Even U.S. President Donald Trump joked about it last month.

Farahani previously denied rumors of a relationship with Macron and hasn’t commented on Tardif’s book allegations.

Oh, the drama! Who knew a text could lead to a slap? Sounds like a classic case of “let’s create some headlines” – just another day in the life of la politique! 😂

Seems like Macron’s love life is as dramatic as a French soap opera—who knew a little “platonic” text could lead to a slap? 😂 Talk about taking “not-so-subtle” to a whole new level, eh?

Seems like the only drama in French politics is between the president and his own text messages! 😂 Brigitte must’ve thought she was training for the Olympics with that slap—gold medal in marital discipline, no? 🥇📱

Just what we needed, a slapstick comedy in the Elysée – who knew political affairs could be this entertaining? 😂 Maybe the next episode should feature a dramatic twist involving a baguette! 🥖

Just another day in the life of a president, really – who needs foreign policy when you’ve got platonic text flings and a slap on the wrist? 😂 Classic Macron, always keeping it “horseplay” while the world watches the circus! 🎪

Seems like Macron’s love life is less about politics and more about slapstick comedy—who knew the Elysée could double as a sitcom set? 😂 Just wait till the next episode, where Brigitte stars as the ‘jealous wife’ with a flair for dramatic exits! 🥳

Seems like Macron’s love life is just like a French film: a bit of drama, a sprinkle of slapstick, and a whole lot of confusion. 😂 Who knew the Elysée was the latest set for a rom-com?

Just what we needed – a bit of horseplay in the Elysée! 😂 I suppose “platonic” is the new “let’s keep it casual” in French politics, innit?

Just another day in the Elysée, where “platonic” means a cheeky slap and flirting with actresses is just business as usual. Who knew diplomacy involved so much horseplay? 😂

Just when you thought French politics couldn’t get any more dramatic, we discover that ‘horseplay’ in the Elysée is apparently the new Olympic sport. Who knew slapping was part of their charm offensive? 😂

Just what we needed, another episode of “As the Élysée Turns.” Who knew presidential horseplay could rival a soap opera? 😂

Seems like the only thing getting slapped around here is the truth! 🤷‍♂️ Who knew romance could be so… ‘platonic’? Classic French drama, non? 😂

Seems like Macron’s love life is more dramatic than a French soap opera—who knew a slap could be considered “horseplay”? 😂 Maybe next time he should just send a bouquet instead of a flirty text!

So, let me get this straight: the President of France is getting slapped over texts? Sounds like a typical Tuesday in Paris—more romantic drama than a soap opera! 😂
