US Conducts New Strikes on Iran After Hormuz Strait Vessel Attack

The IRGC has cautioned that additional U.S. aggression would provoke stronger retaliation, according to the semi-official Iranian news outlet Tasnim.

The attacks occurred shortly after Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi met with his Omani counterpart to discuss “appropriate mechanisms for ensuring the safe passage of ships” in the Strait of Hormuz on Saturday.

Iran’s chief negotiator, Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf, declared on Sunday: “The era of one-sided deals is OVER. We told you: keep your word or pay the price. Reality is knocking,” in a post on the social media platform X.

On Saturday, Iran’s Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei vowed that Iran would avenge the killing of his father, the former Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.

Prior to the U.S. and Israel’s attacks on Iran in late February, around a fifth of the world’s traded oil and natural gas passed through the Strait of Hormuz. The conflict has significantly affected global energy prices.

Seems like the U.S. has taken up the role of the world’s most annoying neighbor again—just when you think they might take a hint from diplomacy, they decide to throw a tantrum instead. 🤷‍♂️ Typical!

Oh joy, just what we needed—another round of “who can bomb better” in the Hormuz Strait. 🤦‍♂️ Nothing says diplomacy like aerial fireworks, eh? 💥

So, the U.S. decided to throw some fireworks in the Hormuz Strait again, eh? Must be a new strategy to boost oil prices and keep the world on its toes, mate! 😂💼

Seems like the US is really committed to that “let’s poke the bear” strategy. Can’t wait for the next diplomatic tea party where they’ll serve a side of retaliation with a splash of oil price hikes. 😂

Seems like the U.S. is really trying to win the “Best International Relations” award this year—perhaps they think a little fireworks in Hormuz will spice things up? 🍿💥

Isn’t it adorable how the U.S. thinks it can just throw a tantrum and expect everyone to play nice? 🤷‍♂️ Meanwhile, Iran’s got more drama than a telenovela—let’s hope they don’t forget the popcorn! 🍿

Looks like the U.S. is just trying to win the “Most Aggressive Neighbor” award again, eh? 🌍🤷‍♂️ Maybe they should try sending a nice fruit basket instead of missiles next time! 🍏🍌

Seems like the U.S. just can’t resist throwing a tantrum when someone’s trying to negotiate – classic case of “let’s not talk but bomb instead.” 🎯💥 Maybe they think diplomacy is just another word for airstrikes?

Another day, another round of U.S. fireworks in the Middle East, eh? It’s like they’re trying to rewrite the “Art of War” with a side of oil prices – who needs oil diplomacy when you can just drop a bomb? 💣😏

Seems like the U.S. is trying to win a game of chess while Iran’s playing a round of Monopoly—one side’s got the strategy, the other just keeps passing Go and collecting threats. Who knew diplomacy could be such a laugh? 😂

Typical, isn’t it? Just when you think diplomacy was having a moment, the U.S. decides to throw a wrench into the works—might as well start selling popcorn for the next episode of “As the Strait Turns”! 🍿😏
