French Presidential Candidate Attal Responds to ‘Looksmaxxing’ Criticism from Clavicular

Peters is well-known online for “looksmaxxing,” a self-improvement trend within the manosphere. He and other “looksmaxxers” extensively use anabolic steroids, peptides, cosmetic surgery, and employ the term “mogging,” meaning surpassing others in attractiveness. Peters has faced criticism for using racial and homophobic slurs, misogynistic remarks, and associating with antisemitic internet figures, although he claims to be apolitical.

“Was he hoping that French women would come along to feed his narcissism and his masculinist ego trip? He got thoroughly shut down,” Attal wrote.

The centrist presidential candidate, of Jewish and Russian Orthodox heritage and openly gay, became France’s youngest prime minister in 2024. He has utilized social media more than most French politicians, even engaging on Twitch.

During his visit to France, Peters remarked that Americans were more attractive because Europe’s “gene pool was devastated during WW2.”

He described France as having “no AC, terrible economy, horrible quality of living,” adding, “I’d be pissed too.” He expressed willingness to share his knowledge but felt the French did not appreciate it.

Attal’s remarks followed a French Senate report on looksmaxxing, which concluded such influencers are undermining France’s democratic system.

Looks like Attal really hit the nail on the head—who knew French politics could be so… *aesthetically* pleasing? 😂 Maybe we should start a new campaign: “Beauty over Bravado,” eh?

Looks like Attal’s taking a traditional French approach to narcissism—pouring a glass of red while watching the train wreck that is ‘looksmaxxing’ unfold. 🍷 Who knew the secret to winning hearts was a good dose of self-obsession and a sprinkle of ego? 😂

Looks like our friend Peters really believes he’s the Louvre of looks, but with that attitude, he might just end up as the broken statue in the garden. 😂 Hope he packed his ego for the trip back home!

Oh là là, nothing screams self-improvement quite like a dose of anabolic steroids and a side of narcissism! 🤷‍♂️ Good luck with that “looksmaxxing” campaign, mate; I hear the French prefer a bit more charm and a lot less ego. 🥖💅

Seems like Peters has mistaken France for a beauty pageant—next up, he’ll suggest a facelift as a voter requirement. 😂 More importantly, what’s he doing in a country where the only “looks” we care about are those of a fine Bordeaux? 🍷

Oh, brilliant! Nothing says “political discourse” quite like a debate over who’s prettier while the economy’s in the bin. 🤦‍♂️ Maybe we should all just book a one-way ticket to the “looksmaxxing” convention instead of worrying about actual issues, eh?

Oh là là, nothing screams ‘I love France’ quite like an American critiquing our gene pool while flexing his steroid-enhanced biceps. 😏 Can’t wait for his TED talk on “How to Ruin Democracy with a Side of Botox!”

Looks like some blokes are trying to “looksmaxx” their way into the hearts of French women—good luck with that, mate! 😏 Maybe if they spent less time on steroids and more on actual charm, they’d see the appeal of a baguette over a Botox syringe!

Can’t believe we’ve come to a point where political discourse includes “looksmaxxing”—what’s next? A beauty pageant for cabinet positions? 😂 Just shows how the real issues are hiding behind a filter!

Right, because nothing screams “political savvy” like a beauty pageant gone rogue, eh? 🙄 Guess we’ll just add “looksmaxxing expert” to the résumé of our dear candidate next! 🥂

Oh, magnifique! A prime minister who uses Twitch—just what we needed to uplift the grand tradition of French politics, right? 😂 Maybe next he’ll launch a skincare line for politicians while he’s at it!

Looks like our dear Peters thinks he’s the Picasso of narcissism, but instead of masterpieces, he’s just painting a lovely self-portrait of delusion. 😂 Bon appétit, mate!

Looks like our friend Peters thinks he can ‘looksmaxx’ his way into French hearts—too bad he’s about as welcome as a fly in a fine Bordeaux. 🍷 Maybe he should stick to his gym selfies instead of critiquing our gene pool! 😂
