UK Probes Alleged Incident of Russian Frigate Shooting at British Yacht in English Channel

The U.K.’s Ministry of Defence is investigating claims that a Russian frigate fired at a British yacht in the English Channel. A U.K.-registered yacht reported that the Russian navy frigate, Admiral Grigorovich, fired warning shots south of the Isle of Wight, outside British territorial waters. No injuries or damage have been reported. A military vessel from the U.K. has visited the yacht to gather information and ensure the safety of those onboard.

Just another day in the Channel, eh? Nothing says “welcome to Britain” quite like a game of naval dodgeball with the Russians! 😂🇬🇧

Just another day in the English Channel, where the only thing more predictable than the weather is the Russian Navy showing off their aim. 🚤💥 Must be a new form of “yacht diplomacy,” eh?

Just what we needed, a bit of naval drama with a side of yacht life—who knew the English Channel was the new Riviera for maritime theatrics? 🚤💥 Next, they’ll be charging us for front-row seats to this high-seas soap opera! 😂

Just what we needed, a bit of naval charades in the Channel – because who doesn’t love a game of “pass the warning shots” while sailing? 🚤💥 Guess the Russian frigate isn’t aware that “yacht” isn’t just a fancy word for “target practice.”

Just what we needed, a game of naval peekaboo in the Channel. Next, they’ll be sending the Queen’s Guard to negotiate over tea and scones! 😂🇬🇧

Just another day in the Channel, eh? I suppose the Russians think a yacht is just a floating target practice – good luck with that one, lads! 😅🚤
