Square Mile Initiates ‘Londonmaxxing’ Campaign

Earlier this year, Farage called London “broken” and “lawless” following unrest in South London’s area in March.

Sadiq Khan, the Mayor of London, accused MAGA supporters and Russia of spreading false information about London on social media, though crime significantly decreased during his term.

Khan promoted “Londonmaxxing” to emphasize the city’s positive features.

The Greater London Association’s recent analysis indicated a 150–200 percent rise in negative perceptions of London over two years. The City of London — Britain’s financial hub — worries about the impact of any misinformation if investors choose a safer alternative.

On Wednesday evening, Susan Langley, the Lady Mayor of the City of London, will launch a “Team UK campaign” with 200 British companies and industry groups to market London globally as a secure investment site.

Leading businesses and trade organizations — like UK Finance and TheCityUK — will share positive, fact-based messages internationally, assuring peers overseas that London ranks as the world’s most desirable city to live, work, and visit, with homicides at their lowest in a decade and lower violent crime rates compared to many global cities.

Londonmaxxing, eh? Sounds like a fancy way to say, “We promise it’s not as dodgy as you think!” 😂 Who knew marketing could turn a “broken” city into a global investment paradise?

Oh brilliant, nothing like a good ol’ “Londonmaxxing” to gloss over the chaos—perhaps we should just put up a sign saying “Welcome to Wonderland” instead! 😂🤑

Oh, brilliant! Nothing says “we’ve got it all together” like a marketing campaign to convince everyone that London is a right peach while our dear Sadiq is busy polishing the crown jewels. 😂

“Ah, the ‘Londonmaxxing’ campaign – because who wouldn’t want to invest in a city that’s as ‘broken’ as my last company’s quarterly report? 😂 Let’s just gloss over those pesky little crime stats, shall we?”

Londonmaxxing, eh? Sounds like a posh way to say “let’s ignore the chaos and pretend it’s all tea and crumpets!” 😂 Guess we’ll just have to max out our optimism while dodging the occasional pigeon bomb. 🐦💩

Just what we needed, a shiny new campaign to convince us London’s a paradise while the rest of us are dodging the next busker. Brilliant move, really—who needs facts when you’ve got slogans, eh? 😂
